Lomachenko vs Commey how likely to happen?

Post by victor-romeo »

I saw an article that Lomachenko might fight Commey in December.
I would make Loma about a 3 to 1 favorite in this with Commey having punchers chance.. Probably a good stay busy fight as Loma pursues Teo fighting previous fighters that Teo Beat.

What do you guys think does this fight happen ?

No real point, teo already smoked him. Yea should ditch kambosas if that’s not made for September and fight loma December instead. Cause I hear triller are trying to drag that out to a late in the year aus show.

Lomachenko needs Lopez for obvious reasons, Lopez appeared to need Lomachenko eventually, despite he denied this at first, the Kambosos soap opera tells it. Lomachenko definitely doesn't need another Lopez' leftover. So, isn't Lopez-Loma 2 the best opportunity of both now?

Intriguing bout if it happens. I'd watch it.

It's a no-win situation for Lomachenko though, because he's unlikely to beat Commey quicker/more impressive than Lopez did.

With long layoffs, aging, and idiotic fights like Nakatani and Commey, Lomachenko will be irrelevant for sport of boxing just like Golovkin

I don't see Loma going same place GGG is now GGG is like 38 ,Loma 33 (standard prime lower weight fighter used to be 28-32 years old), IF Loma shoulder holds up got at least 3 good fights in him , hard to predict though...

Why is there no talk about Loma vs Haney? Apparently Haney can't get a fight at 135 and is thinking of moving up.

Takes a lot for loma to challenge himself these days.
