Tjs a top fighter. 1 dodgy loss where he wasn't himself and conlons taken care of him pretty handily so far. Conlons better than what people think on this site in my opinion. He's good on the stage aswel :bag:
tj has 2 losses

but i agree , it'll be a good win
Yeah I know but I don't consider the unification where he nearly won a bad loss like the Romanian 1 was. I think his reputation wasn't harmed by the unification loss . But conlons looked very good tonight. A nice vicious streak at times I like :bag:

He was involved in a unification fight at Super-Bantamweight only two years ago on a massive card.

Do you not watch the lighter weight classes ?

TJ is one tough MF as he showed v Roman but Conlan had his number tonight. What an atmosphere by the way, great to hear/see.

Like Carl said: it ain't a world title.

But I definitely think the winner goes from prospect to contender.

Carl was great by the way. I struggle a bit with his accent, but he is well worth listening to.

Yeah, good win.
Mick is almost world class.

If he can just find a way to improve a little bit…

Good fight. Conlan was certainly dominant but Doheny is a hard bastard, just didn't connect enough.

Conlans bodywork is impressive but I do wonder is he a bit featherfisted for world level.

In the McGregor fight, Legrand went very quickly despite being on top, what happened there?

Will he stay at Featherweight? Leigh Wood if Santa Cruz was stripped perhaps. Both MTK

Heck yeah :bag:
But would they risk two signings when they could pitch them at different belts, and then against each other?
That would be the long game.

Probably was due to Covid.

It’s like a 1 or 2 week thing every year.

I agree with the feather fisted for world level to an extent. But tonight he showed a bit more bit in his hardest fight and more importantly this weight most fights dont go the distance at the higher levels unless it's some freak like the monster. I think people expected too much from conlon at 1st because of amateurs and the hype. I think his team's done good by him transitioning him over and taking their time. Looks good for him going forward. Some good night's ahead :bag:

Yeah hard to know, Jazza Dickens is MTK too. After Dickens Galahad and Warrington Lara could be opportunities there

Anyone would be good outdoors in Belfast !

I think he needs a few more fights before he’s ready and they should be well paid too - no hurry.
