Surprised Maestre not able to cut ring off more efficiently.

maestre getting a bit closer in the 5th....but he needs to throw in combo more rather than 1 at a time

and he needs to go to the body more, it's a much bigger target than fox's tiny elusive head

these punch stats seem too close btw, seems to me like fox has been outlanding him by more than that

Why is Maestre not leading with a stif (if short) jab?

the movement has mind f@cked him. starting with jabs, throwing combos to head and body would be a good approach........but he is in full on lead with wild single power shot mode

78-73 fox

one thing hes good at ....despite being freakishly tall he can bend really low and make himself a small target

Maestre has been clueless in this match, thanks to Fox executing the fight of his life.

Wide UD for sure.

Maestre looked like he might slow him down and catch up with him for about 20 secs a couple of times, but he was soundly outclassed

Absolute robbery. Total travesty. I have no use for Maestre going forward. 0.

Can’t remember a more obvious, criminal robbery in boxing for a long while. That is why boxing is on life support.

Maestre should be ashamed.

This tops the first 3G v Canelo robbery.

Yeah that was despicable. Fox won at least 10 rounds out of 12 there easy, plus a knockdown. Just despicable.

I haven't gotten the chance to see any Live Boxing in months, and I get that chance, and this is what happens. Makes ya sick.

I thought the 115-113 were bent scores - where they had wanted to fix the fight for Maestre but couldn't actually do it because it was so clear and wide for Fox !
When I heard the 117-110 I thought - at last ! - at least one judge scored it fairly.

That was an actual robbery. Not close, not tough to score, not "what you like" it was just bent.

That was a masterclass of a tall fighter winning on the outside. Superior defence, effective aggression (Maestre had almost none !) and ring generalship.
Definitely one of the worst decisions I've seen.
