That's a tough one, but I would bet on Foster.

Foster would out-box and out-fought Saad Muhammad from long range behind his left jabs, right hands, left hooks and combinations to take a decision in a close hard fight.

Saad Muhammad was so fun to watch. Just can't seeing him last 15 rounds against Foster. Foster had lethal punching power and Saad Muhammad didn't have the defense to stay away from it.

I think Matthew Saad Muhammad could take the great Bob Foster's shots. This is like a Marvelous vs Hearns fight in my view but a little longer. It will be over by the 9th round with Foster wilting and broken.

Foster was a huge puncher at the LHW. Saad was a gutsy brawler, who was opened. I can see Saad troubling Foster, but it's hard to see him avoiding Foster's bombs. Probably Saad even could impose a fight on Foster and get better of it, but it would be extremely hard for him not to be caught at some point.

Do you really believe that? Foster was reputed to have a left-hook that could crumble a building.
Matthew Saad Muhammad had an iron chin. He could take a lot of shots in his prime. I saw him a lot. He was in a lot of brutal fights.

Bob would beat him to a pulp.......and everyone would be cheering Saad at the end, and many would likely call it his "best fight" despite the loss. Saad had the chin of the Sphinx.

Saad would be an open target against Foster's left hook, which was one of the most powerful punches possessed by any light heavyweight who ever fought. That doesn't bode well for Saad. He'd probably take the ten count.

I saw many of Saad's fights too. He was something else....an incredible talent. But no 175 pounder that exposed their chin to Foster's left hook would last long in the ring with him.
Well, if you say so. Saad Muhammad was a very, very strong guy in his prime. I can see the great Bob Foster winning by decision. Not by knockout. I could see Saad winning by knockout with a tiring Foster throwing everything but the kitchen sink and not winning by decision.

I go with the consensus here. Would be a great fight and I was a huge Saad fan back in the day but Foster would batter him. Saad fought a lot of good fighters but nobody with Foster’s left hook. I would go with late TKO

Foster is so overrated. He may decision saad here, I'd lean that way. If anyone is getting stopped it's Bob.

Foster by kayo in the 13th or 14th round. But it would be a hell of a fight, and it would not surprise me if Matthew would be leading on 1 of the cards.
