For once I'm lost for words... even an ancient, one-armed Haye would have Fournier out of there in seconds, so this is clearly an exhibition bout masquerading as a real fight. Haye will be carrying him for sure, but I can't for the life of me work out why? He's possibly skinter than we realize, but I would have thought even given that his pride wouldn't allow him to get caught up in something like this... either way, it makes a mockery of fans.

Someone, please, tell Haye, that he's crippled, and make him retired for good.

Professional? Or exhibition?

Haye already needs money again.

Surely not. A rich guy that boxes for a hobby and is a 175lber, vs David haye. I’d back haye even if his Achilles snapped in the pre fight weigh in.

Even if haye is terrible he should be able to ding him once, and haye fornicating whacks so that should be good night…

Unless haye is just going to take the piss for cash.

Haye isn’t gonna KO his mate …

Surely has to be an exhibition with no winner declared as Fournier loves his unbeaten record too

In case no one has realised David Haye just loves to be the centre of attention, same as Oscar, that’s why he’s on the show.

Haye's return coincides with the WBA actually rating Haye's old opponent Mark De Mori number ten in their ratings. Can't wait for their rematch. Dr Mori entered the WBA's ratings on the back of a one round win over an opponent with a 21-20 record - an opponent whom he'd fought twice before in the last four years....knocking him out in two and one round respectively.

I just read. It’s a 3 minute 8 round pro bout. Will be added to pro records.

I honestly wouldn't worry about that mate - the amount of hits you need these days to generate meaningful income is off the charts - you viewing something on YT will probably mean a 0.0000001p return for them so I wouldn't sweat it

This is the closest you're ever going to get to a straight-up fix in the ring. Shame on Haye.

Everyones assuming the fix... and look its the most likely outcome. buttt deep down i hope that Fournier slighted Haye without even realising and haye is just going there to KO him in 20 seconds, that said haye is nearly a decade past prime and a few retirments in

There’s a cracking thread on joe Fournier on another boxing forum. Literally dozens of pages long dishing the dirt on him and his alleged “billions”.

Money. He's going to get paid handsomely to lose to his mate so his mate's stock rises and gets a bigger fight with Haye getting a % of it.

Unfortunately we now live in this weird social media and celeb culture. It's created a revenue stream for celebs and former pros to earn big money. I think Haye is scrapping the barrel here but can you blame him? If someone offered any of us a fortune to take part in a no risk event I'm sure we would jump at it.
