Yeah, I was struggling then realised it was/is Barry Jones, former WBO super feather champ.

Google suggests he also trained Jane Couch.

Some articles seem to re-quote the same original article where it states 3 world champs.

I remember Ronnie and Dai Gardiner with Robinson. Dai also trained the ill fated Johnny Owen and also Robbie Regan.

Enzo had Calzaghe, Cleverly and Rees .. Price didn't quite make it.

Those guys all come through at same time, and no doubt helped each other as much as Enzo's input.
The Ingle gym have produced champions consistently from the great Brendan Ingle to Dominic Ingle.

Vince Cleverly trained his son for all his titles in his pro career.

Amazing legacy. Can't think of another gym in the UK that compares. For me, it spoke volumes that even during the huge success they had in the 90s/00s the Ingles still devoted time to the lower-level boxers in the gym, the Jason Collins-types. It didn't matter to them that he lost more than he won.

For me the Ingles are proof of what i often say , you do not wake up on mon morning and say Aaaaargh i think i'll become a boxer , next week , You go to a gym and LEARN how to box ,,, and the same applys to trainers ,
you learn your craft , from being shown , pinching knoledge , of others , studying , paitence , and lots and lots of time put in , then you if your lucky to have the good teaching skills , paitence to teach , and the pupils with the correct attitude , right skillset and ambition you can coach / teach someone how to box and if your even luckier and you click you and that boxer can go all the way ,, And the Ingles have done it lots of times , just look at the amount they have had from scratch , not just world champs , but ameteur champs , british champs , , well done to the Ingles .

He was just a dad who’s son was being bullied so took him to a boxing gym and started helping out.

MANY MANY a good coach started off that way , and the reasons being that normally they don't have an ego , and actually listen , learn and pinch ideas , there more open to learning than others who say this is the way i was taught this is the way it should be done , just more open to better ways ,

Yep, great point and agree completely. Yes Ingle produced champions, but even more importantly than that he invested time in anyone who set foot in that gym, and didn't just help them become better boxers, he seemed to help them become better people. Now that is a legacy.

He also lost to another junior boxer from the Ingle gym (Jason Barker) 4 times.
Witter boxed pro from the Ingle gym for over 18 years winning the British, Commonwealth, European and World title.
