Good to see Perez out again ! Only lost to the top guys really. Povetkin and Jennings at heavy ( he is not a heavyweight ) and then Breidis at Cruiser.

I think if he still has the physical skills at 35 he could still win a world title

He looks in fantastic condition on recent Instagram photos .

I would like to see him do well

he was schooling jennings for 6 rounds but then gassed badly, similar story vs takam too and was lucky to get a draw there after a first half lead. had the skills but not the conditioning at heavy

the briedis fight was dreadful, mairis allowed to hold non stop that night and perez wasnt able to get anything going. was only time ive seen him really frustrated, usually he has a poker face

Perez is an underachieve die to poor management / promotion and sometimes food I believe. Though looked in tremendous shape tonight

There were 3 outstanding Cubans that turned pro in Ireland. All underachieved and two did terribly. There was no buzz about them and I believe they lost all their discipline.

What was Salam in nick for?
Also Salam was asking to get knocked out there just letting Perez tee off on him.
All he had to do was to keep taking a step forward and lean in, taking away the Cubans space.

A boxer is facing years behind bars after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman and holding her prisoner in her own home.

Super-middleweight Tony Salam, 26, attacked his victim in her Essex flat after she returned from a night out, hurling her to the floor. She struggled free but the fighter chased her and dragged her back inside.

Judge John Lafferty, sitting at Snaresbrook crown court, remanded Salam in custody and warned him he was facing an “inevitable custodial sentence”. Salam, of Woolwich, denied the charges. He will be sentenced on July 28.

The only things I’ve seen which say one way or another were comments on another forum, so can’t say if they’re correct or not, but they seem to say it was against his ex.

Wasn't he Salem and changed to Salam ? - I can't remember if he changed his name around the time of his case?

Should match him with Jamie Cox for the WBC International silver ex girlfriend assault and kidnappers Interim title or something
