I remember when we did the radio show and my friend Frank was all excited about the guest he got, "I got Sultan Ibragimov!", and he couldn't understand my silence needless to say he decided to not have him on the show that night because if I thought he sucked he knew that interview was going to suck.

That being said this is a very even matchup even though Ruslan Chagaev was certainly the more entertaining between the two as he was a puncher. Much as I hate to say it I think Ibragimov edges the decision over 12.

Man oh man I remember the influx of all those Russians and Ukrainians in the early 2000s I'd probably say Oleg Maskaev was my favorite of those former Soviet Union heavyweights of that time.

I'd pick Chagaev. I think, he was a bit more elusive and way sharper, which would give him an edge. Although I also see it as a dec win.

Maskaev was a quite fun to watch. He had a decent skillset and not the best chin, but often prefered intense fighting.
