He’s eliminated the KD.

If this continues, Bolo takes over.

Buatsi in unknown territory rounds wise, never having gone passed the 7th before. Does this give Bolotniks hope?

Better from Buatsi.
Bolotniks can take everything he has though, even the KD was a bit of a flash one.

Ricards Bolotniks isn’t a world-class fighter.

Joshua Buatsi’s fatigue is flattering his opponent.

The Brit needs another three or four fights over the next 18 months before progressing the world-stage.

The hype currently doesn’t reflect reality. Buatsi might improve though, but he’s not as good as advertised.

Bolotniks is the perfect tester, what a chin... And considering the punishment he took, a damn good engine too.
Buatsi showed he can turn it up past where he has fought before, against a live opponent.
I enjoyed that.

Ya perfect fight for him, and also a good fight as a spectacle too. Buatsi will need to improve to operate at proper World level, but there was plenty of positives tonight.

Really good fight.

Showed Buatsi’s tough, has a second wind if needed but shouldn’t have been drained so much, can take a shot but it also showed some of his areas of weakness. Really needs to work on his defence and head movement.

Reminded me a little of Haye/Fragomeni. One or two fights at a similar level and then Bivol.

Perfect learning fight for Buatsi; the very definition of a learning fight. Assuming he learns from tonight then it’ll set him up even better in his career.
Cannot complain with that performance. He was in control, great finish and knows he needs better endurance.
