As far as his past drug use not being able to come back and haunt him...it most certainly can. I'm not saying Thomas has any illness, but being that he was heroin addict he has had his share of needles in his arm, which with needles comes hepatitis and a few other dangerous diseases and worst of all aids. People with hepatitis usually do not start showing symptoms until around 20, or 30 years after getting it. Again, I'm not saying that Thomas has any illness, but past drug use can most certainly come back to kick your ass many years after a person has quit.

And for the record...Thomas was not shot when Tyson beat him. He was not prime, but he was far, far from being shot...he was shot when Morrison fought him, but was still pretty fresh when Tyson beat him. Prior to Tyson, Thomas had only lost a close fight to Berbick, which a couple of points the other way and Thomas would have won that bout and he was far from being shot when he stepped in the ring with Tyson and the three bouts leading up to Tyson, well he certainly was not trained very well for those bouts due to who he was facing, but he still handled those three guys leading up to Tyson with relative ease.

That's a pretty ridiculous statement.

That's probably true, Thomas hadn't fought since his loss to Tyson.

But of what relevance is it in this thread?
