the boxrec records say there was only one fight vs Massimiliano Duran. With Thompson winning in 8. I've also seen brief footage of a fight where Duran gives Thompson an absolute spanking, stopping him in 11. Why is Duran's 11th round stoppage of Car Thompson not listed? With Thompson being a British based WBO champ (former) i thought Id take it the these boards

Sorry mate, but i think you have Carl Thompson confused with Derek Angol.
It was Angol who got stopped in 11 rounds by Massimiliano Duran.
