Hopefully get to see Thurman back in the ring to challenge Ugas next, but he may just want to talk some more. Spence may not be ready until early next year, who knows? Happy for Ugas. Cubans are well schooled but not well liked, thanks to negative styles like Rigo and Lara.

Spence-Ugas in the most wanted option, of course. Hopefully Spence gets well soon. If not that, than the Thurman bout sounds good indeed. The Porter rematch will be less interesting, but Porter is likely to fight Crawford, which also is a fine matchup.Bandog wrote: ↑22 Aug 2021, 05:12Hopefully get to see Thurman back in the ring to challenge Ugas next, but he may just want to talk some more. Doesn’t matter what you throw, doesn’t mean anything if you can’t land.Miman wrote: ↑22 Aug 2021, 02:44the fight didnt show that Pacman is the bigger puncher.gregregegg wrote: ↑22 Aug 2021, 02:29 Iv never seen a fight where the bigger puncher threw more than twice as many punches and still rightfully lost the decision untill today.
The long arms of Ugas and his counter style, his accuracy as well. Made the difference.

117-111 Ugas, that fight was not close, seems a lot of people score punches that are blocked and miss
Re: Round-by-Round: Manny Pacquiao vs. Yordenis Ugas - August 21, 2021
Right. I had it 118-110, gave Pac only rounds 1 and 5.handsofstone wrote: ↑22 Aug 2021, 06:14 117-111 Ugas, that fight was not close, seems a lot of people score punches that are blocked and miss

Just trying to bury the official prediction and expected scores. 6-8 round margin for Pac?
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=249026&start=75
"the judges’ scorecards will probably favour Pacquiao by an 118-110 or 117-111 margin, regardless as to the competitive nature of the bout"
No amount of money can cover up that wide a blooper!

But put it this way, it was the biggest bet I’d placed in the last five years. It was over-the-top... excessive.
It was an impulsive thing and I instantly regretted it! But fortunately for me, it came good.
I don’t think I’ll ever do that again though.
I don’t bet that often, usually small sums to make fights more excitingt to watch. But last night I was very nervous. And I haven’t got the guts to go through an ordeal like that again!

Except for last night's bet, in terms of total sums, I've probably lost more than won, over the last couple of years, but I do tend to bet on the method of victory, which is better odds, but harder to win.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑22 Aug 2021, 09:51 Here i will tell you my biggest loss

The biggest win of my life was Mayweather-McGregor. I placed a massive bet, because the odds were silly. The amount I bet on Ugas was less than that.

Hmm, someone that will never admit they are wrong, makes a prediction that is wrong, then claims they won money going against their own prediction? That's some funny stuff!Enlightened-One wrote: ↑22 Aug 2021, 09:53Except for last night's bet, in terms of total sums, I've probably lost more than won, over the last couple of years, but I do tend to bet on the method of victory, which is better odds, but harder to win.Jeff_lacy_ko wrote: ↑22 Aug 2021, 09:51 Here i will tell you my biggest loss
