Scott Harrison & his problems

Post by jomothepure »

There's been a fair amount in the Scottish press over the past two or three weeks, talking about when Harrison will return, and the odd quote or paraphrase from Maloney or Harrison snr excepting a return to the ring soon.

Now I know very few people outwith guys like his father, manager etc. will know precisely what's going on with Harrison, and what frame of mind he is in. But, I am slightly worried that Harrison may be rushed to soon into a return. Again, we can only speculate as to how severe and precisely what Scott's problems are, but they are certainly not of the variety that a bandage and a spot of R+R in the highlands will miraculously cure.

I'd like nothing better than Harrison to return, and return in impressive fashion. However, I am worried that if he returns - even late this year - he will not return the complete man, and his career will suffer, and possibly end.

For the final time, I'll say I for one don't know what's going on, but as a fan I just hope Harrison and his team make sure he is mentally 100%, or as close to this as is possible, before we see him in action again.

it's a big ask. most alcies don't ever recover. sherwood house in rotherham - where my dad recovered fully - have closed down as the success rate is so pitiful.

places like that would only close down if the success rate was very high, makes more sense
