Awful first fight. You know it’s going to end quick when the commentator mentions ‘teak tough’ after 10 seconds of the fight. They looked 2 weight divisions apart and Commey’s punch resistance and ability were poor. Davies needs some proper learning fights. I’d have understood it if there was a commonwealth title at stake but no. Surely they could have got a better opponent?!

Ennis Brown/Maxwell - I thought it was a poor quality British title fight. Ennis Brown is an awkward tricky fighter but Maxwell didn’t really figure him out or get things going at all for me. Poor decision for me. I really hope there isn’t a rematch.

The Yarde fight was woeful. A complete waste of everybody’s time. The guy was an out of shape middleweight with no ambition. I really don’t get the point - it’s not like Yarde has had 18 months out of the ring - he’s been out 8 months. I don’t get why TV networks allow and pay for this kind of fight.

Christ. Why is Heaney fighting another journeyman? I know he sells tickets and they want to keep his 0 but surely it’s not in his interest to continue having fights like this. The guy was simply a punch bag.

It needs a very good main event or this is one of the worst TV shows of the year.

He looks very intense tonight
The IFL interview he did the other day had the comment section full of stuff suggesting that.

Can't say I saw it? Kalle is usually pulling faces and licking his gums under his teeth. Didn't notice that with Francis but I'm hardly an expert as I've never taken anything in my life.
Yeah Kalle’s a gurner. Maybe Francis trys to keep a lid on it in case Frank’s watching

Wtf you talking about

They were brutal body shots on a beefed up middleweight with a big flabby belly, there's no chance he was faking.
Pish. That first shot barely touched him.
RKY is right.

FFS, Theran had been stopped 5/5 - all in the early rounds - every time he stepped up. Yarde is the best opponent he's faced AND one of the biggest one-shot bangers in the game.
Plus Theran is really only a MW/SMW !

WTF would they need a conspiracy ?
Did I say there was conspiracy? I said it was a glancing blow. Your overthinking things.

ATAC edges the first - using his length and accuracy.

Good fight
10-9 ATAC.

Sounds like a Zulu warrior from 135 years back has somehow made their way into this crowd.

A refreshing change from Tom Jones tho.

ATAC 20-18.

R2 was clear, almost dominant. Had Woody hurt and some great defence too.

The Lion (nearly) sleeps tonight.

ATAC a different level - it's not competitive, it's "will he get the stoppage?"

40-35 with the KD.

Does The Lion last the full 12 ?
