I can't imagine more than 50 people in the USA have heard of Tommy fury.

When it all started to kick off, that big, stupid, dumbass robot just stood there looking confused instead of unleashing mecha-hell. I'm beginning to suspect that it isn't even a real robot.

jp even thought his name was timmy fury
Really well known to a demographic in the U.K. that don’t watch boxing at all, and known to boxing fans.
He appeared on, and won, love island. A show that I’d rather suck off an octopus than watch, but has a huge U.K. fan base with complete non-boxing fans.

That being said how many of them would wait up until the early hours? Not many. But maybe that’s why his (Paul) fight tonight is at 10pm U.K. time?

his drawing power as a boxer obviously isnt that special even in the uk if hhe's on rando fwank warren undercards instead of making dat big money as a mainstream headliner like the paul bros are

if he was a huge draw in the uk, with his love island following, he'd be in a lot higher profile fights than he has been. obviously they havent been translating to his boxing following. take him to the usa, and literally 1 in a million ppl will know him there.

that idiris virgo fella was on love island too wanst he

Zero interest in him from the love island brigade fighting low level journeymen. But if he fought a fellow celebrity with some build up, and certain money behind the fight, there would be. Well, there would be more. As you know boxing promoters both in the U.K. and the US could sell snow to the Eskimos, if there’s money behind it.

Jake Paul trains hard sure but the fights he had so far are carful match making. a 24 year old has fought guys in their mid and late 30s and two of those were against opponents who did not even want to be their

This is the case for pretty much almost any boxer with less than 10 fights that have any type of backing behind them these days. Youtuber or not unfortunately this is the way boxing works and has for years. The only difference between Jake Paul's approach than any other boxer with the same amount of pro fights is that Jake Paul found a way to get more money and exposure fighting these types of fights in the beginning.

Will Joe Cusumano put up any resistance to DDD and make it some rounds? Currently in boxrecs top 50, never been stopped.

because i dont know of him iv just assumed it will be a couple of round knockover job, but thats based on zero info, anyone seen him enough to know if he might make something out of it?

if (when) he starts losing Will he shell and try last rounds, or keep swinging and going for the win ?

or has noone heard of him...

Jake Paul and Woodley might be nervous about this…. Find an extra couple of kits for tommy fury’s fight too, sure they will also be checking his calandra praying it’s cleared his system…

Anyone throwing a decent bet on this? Against askrin you could get near even money a few weeks befor the fight, I didn’t hear of anyone that lumped a couple of grand on, yet nearly everyone spoke about how obvious the result was.

Again for this fight a few weeks ago you could get near even money, even now you can get pretty juicey odds, predict if Paul wins by KO a lot of people will be saying it was obviously but won’t have to bet slips to suggest they had that much pre fight confidence.

ya, how much better than Jake is he really ? :maybe:

On that showing he's bad and not improving. I don't think he was going easy there to look bad and get a fight - he was just being bad !

Anyone disagree ?
