Of course it's fine - and not just because anti-vaxxers are stupid and annoying.

Nobody's saying you HAVE to have a jab !

Just that you must be vaccinated and virus-free to breath all over someone during a pandemic.

I'd like to hear the arguments from the "it's my freedom to spread disease" posse...?

I’m on the fence with it. I understand it financially but it seems a bit OTT mandating people take the vaccination.

If we take the original fight that was cancelled because of Teo getting Covid, Triller lost several million dollars and undercard fighters lost out on decent paydays. The chances of that happening if Teo had been vaccinated would have heavily reduced (but of course still possible).

Will be interesting to see what Josh Taylor has to say about it.

Against, it sets a bad precedent. Possible compromise would be to test negative or have antibodies.

Because it’s an overreaction. It’s basically forcing people to have the jab so they can do their job. Where will it all end.

A negative test should be enough.

I’d much sooner have covid than a fractured jaw or brain cell damage.

The irony.

A negative test is sufficient enough.

Boxing is already over-regulated to death.

how about ibf stop fighters also taking drugs, i think it is out of order to force a fit fighter with vaccine that has only been around a very short time which no one knows the long term effects , but if they want to do it what can you do,

I'd have the vaccine even if if it were proved everyone who gets it will die within two years.

The alternative is being left alive in a world with nobody in it but anti-vaxxers, and going by the people who I know that are anti-vaccine, quite frankly I'd sooner be dead.

I listened to an interview with Lou Dibella. He said it wasn’t a mandate from the IBF - apparently it came from the New York commission who say that if it’s a sport where competitors are within 6ft then they need at least one jab.
