I remember someone on here saying Haye was better at street fighting than boxing, not sure if that’s true

Eubank Jnr had a YouTube street fight

ike Ibeabuchi (big, strong, can punch, tough, fit with good punch output and a out and out head case)

Tommy Morrison (heard he was a handful on the street/bars)

Ray Mercer

David Tua

All would be a very hard nights work for anyone with power, chin, toughness & fitness they all had

For the big boys, Vitali. Tua would also be good.

Smaller lads, Canelo must be a shout.

Heavy handed, good chins, can fight on the inside.

Yeah, the subject sounds like you gotta have some special skills to be a pub fighter.

Going back a hundred years or more I’m guessing there would have been a lot of fighters brought up/ started out as bare knuckle street fighters

Haye (prime) is a good call … he would be able to connect first due to his great speed and accuracy and movement. In a street fight the first decent punch ends things really .

Whyte / Vitali / Skelton due to size and kickboxing / MMA background.

Groves also from kickboxing background which makes him a bit more tasty than most and has decent size and a big enough puncher to clean most people’s chin

Carl Thompson (prime ) would have been a nightmare … big & strong , heavy hands , knew how to use his legs and elbows … and has an absolute warrior mentality ….

Scott Harrison

Margarito

Kovalev
Harrison got leathered a couple of times off hard cûnts. He started on the wrong guys when off his nut. Got knocked clean out by a head but in one of them. I was a bit shocked to hear it at the time but was confirmed to me. His rep outside the ring was as a bully tbh not a hard man.

He once appeared in my car wash in the back seat of a car full of absolute fannies out his face on that M-Cat gear. I was sickened.

Know a couple of guys who were in the squad with him in his amateur days and said the same.

Yeah it doesn’t surprise me about Haye at all. Not many guys would lamp Chisora outside the ring without thinking twice.

That is a good point. There's a video that shows some decent stills and the video of the scuffle and he cracks Chisora and gives him some elbows on the floor and then Don Charles comes at him and Haye gives him a few smacks as well and then everyone backs off and resorts to just shouting rather than actually going for Haye.

Dillian Whyte for ages seemed to bully people at the press conferences but there's at least two occasions during the Chisora fights where you see him backing off slightly.

Only if you’re in a pub populated by dwarves. Size means a lot in a fight. A non punching bantamweight like McCullough really wouldn’t be much use. The average tough guy in a pub would throw him around like a rag doll.

Basically you’d want a heavyweight, who’s game, tough with a good chin and can punch. Babic is a good choice. David Haye would actually be a good one - athletic, hits hard fast and has some jiu jitsu I believe. He would just chin people and we’ve seen him in action, taking care of Chisora and Adam Booth in style
The average pub tough guy would be gassed and defenceless after 30 seconds. Wayne McCullagh had a block head so would weather the windmilling then take over.
Hmmm I've ever seen a bar or streetfight last more than 5 seconds. Mccullough would be picked up and bashed into the floor by anyone 15stone and over
My arse.

I saw his fight with Shaun Cogan from ringside. He then went off for a shower and came back and sat in front of me for the rest of the show. Like nothing happened.

Jeff Fenech knocked out a big doorman.
George Scott knocked out an old Anders Eklund.

I was at Rhodes. All the doormen there (in Faliraki) were only built up on weight training. A brit with some boxing experience punched them all out one night.

Mind you, fighting on the streets is too big a risk of anything bad happening....

Just peace and love for me :TU:
