This is massive shambles..
Sayings it’s like having 3 red bulls.
Benavidez was done for Cocaine. Is that a PED?
He was stripped wasn’t he?
We’ve seen fights then to NC, cus if weed.

I dont know why people making that big deal for PEDs. 80s and 90s fighters were more roided than recent ones and people always praising it as golden era of boxing. If you want punish those who were caught using peds, just charge them with financial fines or something like that. Money always hurt

Now it’s the case of how much of an impact this will have Valdez’s performance in ring.
We all saw how he dealt with Berchelt, a guy no one here thought he’d beat.
Will Conceica still want to fight for the title next week?

Didn't Whyte lose his mandatory spot with the WBC when he was effectively cleared? Hope he sues sh1t out of them
Re: Oscar Valdez vs. Robson Conceica | ESPN - September 10, 2021
All that stuff only illustrates again, that all of them are juiced and the corrupt politics of boxing opens eyes on it only when a fighter should be moved away from the scene.

Re: Oscar Valdez vs. Robson Conceica | ESPN - September 10, 2021
My very limmited understanding is that the substance he tested positive for wouldn't have lasting benefits and only on night benefits, because of that WADA only consider it banned on fight night. VADA however have it banned in and out of compitition.
assume the boxing/athletic commision Use WADA which is why they have allowed the fight and the only reason this issue came up is WBC clean boxing program is in place for the fight.
Im ok with Valdez fighting oddly enough, if WADA is who the athletic commision are using, and the substance isnt banned by WADA (except fight night) then why should the athletic commision cancel it. WBC should take away any belts and rankings for valdez though, because WBC run on VADA and its banned there..
Moral of the story, WADA, VADA, BBBOC, Commisions, USADA ect ect. need to get on the same page.

Re: Oscar Valdez vs. Robson Conceica | ESPN - September 10, 2021
Was quite looking forward to this before all the bullsh1t with Valdez pissing hot, loved his performance against Berchelt, really came of age and announced himself at World level more than he never did as champ at Featherweight, now I just want Conceicao to muller him, I just don't think he has set the pro game alight since winning Olympic Gold in Rio, been matched very carefully and being thrown in deep here in more ways than one
Valdez should stop him unfortunately late on
