Truly shocked last time out to see what Lara did to Warrington .
Credit to Lara that night by taking his opportunity and doing what world Champions Selby , Frampton and Galahad had failed to do.

Massive credit to Josh for stepping straight back into the rematch and no doubt he’s hoping the return of his supporters and some sort of normality will give him the edge .

Really looking forward to attending this show not just to see how Josh does but also how Maxi Hughes deals with Straffon who last time blasted out Tenneyson in the first round .

Warrington just doesn’t look right in training. Looks drained and just stiff, awkward. I’m leaning towards Lara by brutality. A long beating followed by a late stoppage of a bloodied Leeds fan.

Fair play to Hughes he’s not doing it the easy way. This guy looked a monster vs Tennyson even though it only last a couple of mins. Big ask.

Yep - Straffon looked quite limited; but dynamite puncher. He doubt he will get to Maxi as quick based on styles - but I favour him to put one on Maxi around midway to keep his TKO roll

It’s good Josh spoke to AJ, but big difference is Ruiz came in for the rematch in probably the worst shape of any champion in the history of the sport. No chance of Lara doing that …If it had been a one punch knockout or something like that I’d back Josh here, but he took a hell of a beating…still, he’s got the drive & heart to maybe pull it out of the fire…bookies make him fave

It’s a bit of an unknown why relatively young fighters suddenly become quite brittle, losing reflexes and punch resistance. If I was to hazard a guess it’s unseen neurological damage from overtraining. Too much hard sparring etc. I’d think Josh will go over in about 3 rounds in the rematch.

Can't dislike Lara following that sportsmanship he showed after demolishing Josh.

I can’t see how Warrington wins this. Lara is relentless and carries the confidence after the first fight.

Genuinely interested to see how this one unfolds, I'm leaning towards Lara repeating the feat in the 2nd half of the fight as I can't see Josh making the changes need against a fighter like Lara, especially with the crowd roaring him on. Took a LOT of big shots first time around, hope he performs well though and fair play to him jumping back in at the deep end.

What an excellent bill, 50/50 main event slugfest with some intriguing fights on the undercard, Benn always fun to watch ( ok not sure who he's fighting ) and Eddie bringing back that loco looking Mexican puncher who looks like he's ready to demolish another local hero - but billing it as a world title fight ? puleeeeze.

Credit Chris not mentioning that in his preview chat with Darren - I really like those two, great chemistry and a 100 times better than the hopeless bogans sky line up.

Funny that eddies most intriguing fights lately involve risky rematches, where his man has been bolloxed in a huge upset in one of his usual 10-1 matches gone horribly wrong.

Josh doesn't look like he's planning on turning into Willie Pep just yet, based on that psycho stare down ....

Must say this is worth £1.99 and no doubt would have been a PPV on Sky, might put a few quid on some away wins here

I'm not sold on Lara as a top fighter yet, and think Warrington can hurt him this time around. Two all action fighters - one of those fights like Froch/Groves II, Wilder/Fury, Joshua/Ruiz II and Frampton/Quigg that is a big arena/stadium headliner AND a total 50/50.

Hughes/Straffon is a really nice fight, and then I'm also intrigued to see how well Benn can perform against Granados, and what the tactics are.

Those three fights (the rest are of zero interest) should be great.

I also enjoy pretty much all of Katie Taylor’s fights but I can understand why people don’t.

The Hopey Price fight is a decent one too although I’m not a fan of his style.

It makes a nice change where we have almost a full card of fights where the B side will be trying to win. Compared to the BT show last week where 4 of the 6 televised fights had opponents who I genuinely don’t think were going in trying to win the fights.

Seems mental to accept that clash of schedules, ufc normally announce those events months and months out, I would of shifted a week if I was Eddie.
