Do you remember me
Do you remember me
Well what do you know.. Still warm the blood that courses through these veins.. SFW is still alive, and he missed y'all. Years of injuries, problems, and then this entire year dealing with aggresive cancer which I somehow just beat have kept me busy but I'm back here now. Now my one question is
Where is Brut?
Where is Brut?
Re: Do you remember me
Sorry old boy, don't know you but I've only been on here regularly since last year. Anyway glad you have defeated the big C
Herny Cooper and Kevin Keegan were the last ones I saw using Brut.

what type of cancer you had and what symptoms you had?
Re: Do you remember me
Burkitts Lymphoma.. I was at Stage 3 when diagnosed so it was far along by then, 6 cycles of red devil chemo seemed to work they thought it was gone then the chemo side effects took hold just days after I finished chemo. I basically went paralyzed from waist down the neuropathy was terrible. Extremely rare reaction I was told but didn't matter I was stuck, couldn't do anything without help. Grown man couldn't move, changed and cleaned like a baby everyday for a long time, every minute was maddening. So I got mad, and trained like a maniac. Took me 4 months to get from barely wiggle toes to walking again, they told me it'd be a year or longer before I'd walk again. I had to relearn how to walk, and one of my legs is broken, so that was tough. But that's life, can change in the blink of an eye.apollo creed wrote: ↑06 Sep 2021, 11:55Welcome back and I hope you to stay with us many, many years! That's a nasty as hell illness. It's a pitty that the most powerful world governments don't try much more to find a vaccine for these type of really deadly illnesses but that's maybe bc these illnesses don't travel through air like the covid flu.
