dont see how fighting bellew deserves more criticism than fighting a way smaller non boxer (who actually is a conman who habitually lies) who he'd ko in 10 seconds if he wanted to. shouldnt even be sanctioned

so what's he said he's gonna do to smokin joe then?

My point is he was telling everyone he was in great shape for the Bellew fight when in reality he was fucked & only came back as allegedly he was going through an expensive divorce.

With the Fournier fight there’s no scam or conning going off, it’s a card full of farcical fights. No one going to watch believes they’re watching real boxing (or at least shouldn’t). It’s like watching WWE

I'm probably in a minority but I've always liked David Haye. However, if anything happens other than Haye absolutely smashing his Walter Mittee mate, and by that I mean a pre-determined result or Haye carrying him, then he will go way down in my estimation...not that he'll give a shite.

Nothing that Haye does now should sway our judgment of him as a boxer. He’s a light entertainer now just trying to milk his fading celebrity for all it’s worth.

Yep - he tries justifying this farce as a chance for fans to see legends .. now I thought he was very good at cruiserweight for a very short time, and an embarrassment at heavyweight; I would never place him in the LEGEND category though.

Haye getting desperate for sales, now even hinting if he feels as good in the ring as he does in the gym it could be the start of a bonafide comeback

If he was bad enough a few years back for a biffer like Bellew to beat him twice, he doesn't want to risk fighting anything more than Joe Billionaire or a heavy bag.

Claiming he has now fully healed from his injuries....and had surgery post Bellew 2 that he really should have had pre Bellew 2.

He`d break again with proper training. The years of PEDs enabling him to put extra strain on his frame ruined him.

As people said her in regards to Joe Billionaire being levels below Haye and any match up being a total mismatch - the same was said about the initial Bellew contest; although few realised or expected Haye to be a complete shell.

40 is not old for many athletes. But despite looking in peak shape - Haye ruined himself years ago. PEDs are a fast gain, but often a fast demise too.

Yes. But back before the initial fight Bellew was seen as just another lucky belt holder; a flabby cruiserweight who wasn`t even good enough to get to the top at lt heavyweight .. so an easy payday for a thunderous puncher like Haye.

Now we know how fragile Haye is, the level has dropped significantly to the likes of Joe Billionaire being good enough to share the ring with Haye.
