Re: Tony Yoka v Petar Milas
Tony finally lands big left to the temple, drops the stunned Croatian, gets up fights back, dropped again by a body shot, staggers up ref waves it off. Final shot may have been an upper cut to the chin, I thought it was to the solar plexus, hard to tell…
Re: Tony Yoka v Petar Milas
Milas should def be ahead
Re: Tony Yoka v Petar Milas
I was thinking that Yoko couldn't pull the trigger, couldn't get his shots off...

Sounds like was a good fight at least. Better than the Hrgovic one

Tony Yoka isn’t bad but is a balloon waiting to be popped
Re: Tony Yoka v Petar Milas
Apart from the ending it's pretty boring. Curiously flat. No swings in momentum or anything memorable. Just two boxers fighting fairly unimaginatively with no drama until the KD and then the KO.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑10 Sep 2021, 17:17 Sounds like was a good fight at least. Better than the Hrgovic one
Re: Tony Yoka v Petar Milas
He'll get inside the top 10. He needs to step up and pick off one of the name dinosaurs still lingering. Pulev or Ortiz, or his fellow frog Takam: see if he can do a better job than his old Olympic rival Joyce?

Re: Tony Yoka v Petar Milas
Yeah sound right. Joyce Yoka is the fight I want to see
Re: Tony Yoka v Petar Milas
I'd like to see it but Joyce has worked himself into a great position and has earned himself a high ranking with minimal promotional backing. He was supposed to be Dubois' breakthrough win, but didn't read the script. He is a true fighter, despite his obvious flaws. He's headed for much more significant fights than Yoka, although if the division continues to clog up then I can see it happening earlier than it should.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 14:04Yeah sound right. Yoka still has some work to do to be mentioned in the same sentence as Joyce in terms of the pro ranks. He doesn't deserve that fight yet. Joyce shouldn't entertain him until he's properly proved himself.
