Between Matchroom and Top Rank.
Why: they have the best from those divisions so would be easy to make them fights on one network.

Actually. If it’s a young prospect then it may not matter that much. But seeing as some
Promoters wants long term deals and take a boxer through all the ranks, then yes, Matchroom or TR.

Depends how good he is. Matchroom fighters are given good opportunities for advancement but it's very much sink or swim it seems to me.

Personally I would not have him sign with anyone until they start coming to you. I'd try to build up interest in the fellow myself.

Promoters and networks will only push their home fighters.H8Usernames wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 13:14 Personally I would not have him sign with anyone until they start coming to you. I'd try to build up interest in the fellow myself.
There are also fewer fights cards than previous years.
Anonymous prospects choosing to remain free agents will struggle to receive opportunities unless they’re considered extraordinary talents.

If I was from the UK I would be tempted with boxxer. The exposure sky sports can give you there is pretty amazing.
Early on their 168/175 stable dosent matter, cause your just fighting cans.

Depends where the fighter is from. If it's not an American, British or Mexican, he can start to build his career in his home country first (unless it's a country without any pro boxing scene at all).

Joseph Parker cleaned out the New Zealand heavyweight division in his first 3 pro fights and had to go stateside- but kept his NZ trainer and manager.

Isn’t Kevin Barry based in Las Vegas… and has been since the 1990’s?KiwiRider wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 16:40aicheligad wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 16:30 Depends where the fighter is from. He had a house there from milking Tua days, and yes they were splitting the training between there and New Zealand because Joseph came from a close family with ties to the Latter Day Saints. You can imagine what they think of Las Vegas, and his mum can wield the jandleEnlightened-One wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 17:51Isn’t Kevin Barry based in Las Vegas… and has been since the 1990’s?KiwiRider wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 16:40aicheligad wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 16:30 Depends where the fighter is from. OK sorry, I’d interpreted your words to suggest that his trainer moved to the USA to continue working with Parker, when it seems to have been the other way around.KiwiRider wrote: ↑12 Sep 2021, 18:00He had a house there from milking Tua days, and yes they were splitting the training between there and New Zealand because Joseph came from a close family with ties to the Latter Day Saints. The Team Barry Boxing Gym was based in Nevada well before Parker became a pro. And when Joe worked with Kevin in America, he stayed at his trainers home.
Sorry, my bad if I misinterpreted your words.

I got a kid who is from Usa. He is pretty damn good. We was scheduled to Fight for one of The Major Promoters recently but my fighter broke his thumb the day after the fight was signed. So we are not signed yet but this fight was gonna kinda be like an Audition. We are leaning towards one of the big Promotional companies mentioned in The Post but i will not say which one as of yet

Re: Gbp, Pbc, Top Rank or Matchroom
do you have an offer from any of them, or are you still doing the 'auditions' so to speak
putting together the news i seen about this card, your kid must be suray. thats pretty cool. personally, i think pbc treats its fighters the best, you almost never hear any complain about them. top rank seems to really pick and choose their faves, does greaat for some guys but ignores others, gbp seems largely to care for hispanics not so good for afro americans. but i dunno the ins and outs of each particular offer

It's difficult to say, depends on the offers and how active they will get them.
It doesn't really matter who has the big names in those divisions if it's just a prospect, things will look different in a couple of years.
Activity is the big one, get as much fights tied down as possible.

Yea Suray is My Fighter. Im thinking Pbc is the best route to go. The fighters seem to be very happy with the treatment they get with Pbc. Plus the amount of shows they producing allows for a hot fighter to get tv air time.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑14 Sep 2021, 16:25 do you have an offer from any of them, or are you still doing the 'auditions' so to speak

Lot's of eyes on prospects is always a good thing.
Good Luck with it all.
