Jack Hood Vaughn Pro Boxing Record for Peace Corp Leader

Jack Hood Vaughn who led the Peace Corp and worked with Presidents Kennedy & Johnson, reportedly had 26 pro boxing bouts in Mexico around 1942. He fought as Jack Hood. Can't find his record on boxrec. Any info on him? He was born in 1920 in Montana.

It is really sad when family members of a recently deceased person get in touch. Eg emails, sometimes angry, stating "my father / grandfather was a contender but you have none of his bouts".

I am not his relative. I came across a big write-up about him in a 1966 Boxing Illustrated article. It said he was a former Golden Gloves Champion and had 24 pro bouts in Mexico. I figured since he was involved with Presidents, that his fight career was legit.
