So how many fights on the card actually counted toward pro records?

I can not believe that man born 1962 may be allowed to fight 2021. This is some kind of crime.

Nonsense. People get hurt far worse in sparring sessions all the time. No harm came to him, the fight itself proved that there was no reason to not allow it. Should you also be prohibited from doing things that are harmless?

Holy didn't appear to be hit too solidly. Eventually he was going to be hit solidly. This ain't golf and a señor tour. :brick:
That's what was most worrying.

Holyfield is now slower than Windows 95 and has the balance of a newborn giraffe and he was wobbling from a punch that would have bounced off him 25 years ago.

He literally has nothing left and should not be sanctioned to fight professionally again.

Belfort and Triller offered Jake Paul $30m winner takes all.

Yeh ryt.. just using his name.

Paul signed a multi fight deal with Showtime..

He probably never wants to work with Triller again.

Agreed and accurate analogies. The whole thing is loonier than a tune.

Oh.
The comments for that tweet are pretty salty and fun to read.

Apparently the individual in that photo with pink hair spent six years in the US Army Special Forces.

All those pros cannot be wrong.

Hopefully Holyfield has read these and more importantly, lets hope he listens.

The man looks physically fantastic, but he is a hollow shell and has zero left as a fighter, exhibitions or not.

According to the Florida State Boxing Commission, all of the bouts that happened at the Triller event were conducted as exhibitions rather than professional fights.

“The fights Saturday were conducted as exhibitions,” a spokesperson from the commission told MMA Fighting on Monday. “The records will not count and will not be official.”

Holyfield was only a few weeks shy of his 59th birthday when he agreed to engage in an exhibition (at eight days’ notice) against a UFC Hall-of-Famer that was 14½ years younger than himself and was also in excellent condition, because the MMA specialist had already been in training camp for more than twelve weeks.

Evander hadn’t fought for more than a decade and didn’t even have a fight lined-up when he accepted the opportunity to engage in the so-called "exhibition" at short-notice!

For some strange reason, Vitor Belfort decided to treat the exhibition like real fight and immediately went for the kill, which was outrageous.

Vitor should have realised after Holyfield fell through the ropes and hit the deck after being on the receiving end of an innocuous blow that it was time to take his foot off the gas and take it easy on his near 60-year-old opponent.

Instead of giving the fans what they wanted, an exhibition match, which is essentially a gentle spar, Belfort literally went all out for the kill!

He wrongly decided to blitz Evander into smithereens in order to “achieve” a first-round stoppage over a harmless old man that clearly couldn’t fight anymore.

FFS! It was an exhibition! Belfort’s conduct was outrageous! :brick:

The whole idea of an "exhibition" is beyond idiotic. It's like a boxing version of pro wrestling.
