Wasn't that an intentional cut of the glove by Dundee? Then it's more tricky than lucky.

Bird's TKO win over an injured Vitali.
Chavez win over Taylor with seconds to go.

Well there are a few stories…. Some say the glove was split and Dundee worsened it. Some say it gave Ali a few minutes….. Others say it was only 65 seconds (which seems unlikely as the time it takes to call the ref over - get him agree to change the glove, find a new glove…. Remove the old one then lace the new one up…..)

edgar sosa.........very holt-torres like fight vs rodel mayol

a headbutt discombobulated sosa, the ref stopped the action for a minute then made them box on, but sosa was still out of it and got stopped in the same round. he was a durable guy and no way would mayol have stopped him in 2 in a legit way

No way the final was close. Only the 3rd round was dodgy there. Cammarelle won the first 2 by a pretty wide margin.

Cammarelle landed so many shots in the first 2 rounds, that it was hard to count more for Joshua without an intention to score for him. In the 3rd round it was about about the same amount of success, but objectively it couldn't be a decider.

I was there too and feel the same. It seemed blatantly obvious that Savon had comfortably done enough.

Yeah I agree, I did post again after that initial post saying in hindsight I thought Lewis was starting to get to Vitali. I do wish they would've did it again though.
Don't say that out loud now Triller is about.

Many years ago. A club mate entered novice Welsh champs.
In his first contest of night he was battered from pillar to post by a kid half his size .. my friend was heavyweight, and his opponent definitely wasn't.

The officials checked the cards and could see they'd matched a heavyweight with a kid entered at Lt-heavy.

Because nobody else was entered at heavyweight - and because the kid entered Lt-heavy .. my friend was given the Welsh vest on a walkover.

Tell you who was lucky, the guy that put a light heavy in with a heavy. Lucky that the light heavy was the batterer... Imagine if a the heavy had of just laid a beating on and knocked out the light heavy only for someone to figure out what had happened....
