Question: How are the rankings affected by
My vote: Yoka to #14, Milas stays unranked.
My feeling exactly. Ratings should have a decency bias. Instead they have the opposite.margaret thatcher wrote: β14 Sep 2021, 23:34 dudes like ortiz and pulev aint been winning sheet of relevance lately, lets clear these dinosaurs out with far busier young talents
I think, those are 50/50 bouts. Each of those fellas is solid, while the young guy is developing and the oldies can show decline at any point.aicheligad wrote: β15 Sep 2021, 06:05 And to be honest, I am not sure that Yoka would beat Ortiz or Pulev even at this point of their careers.
Id back him to beat both back to back same night. but thats not entirely my reasoning for him going up above them. my reason is recent resume.aicheligad wrote: β15 Sep 2021, 06:05 And to be honest, I am not sure that Yoka would beat Ortiz or Pulev even at this point of their careers.

-In the last 5 years all pulev has done is beat a young flustered cut hughie, sure its a good win but fornicate, if thats 5 years work... plus he should of been DQd vs Dino (minimum NCd)... and didnt win a round vs AJ befor being knocked.
-In the last 5 years ortiz has beat Hammer, been knocked out twice... that is it.
-Yoka has Milas, Hammer, Duahpas, Rice, Allen... Its not world class, sure, but id say its better than those two
Can see why people want to move Yoka up and remove Pulev & Ortiz, but if we remove them, we have to vote 2 other fighters in and there are not a lot (if any) fighters that really deserve it. Helenius/Kownacki winner, HrgoviΔ, Kabayel etc... their recent accomplishments aren't great either.gregregegg wrote: β15 Sep 2021, 06:30Id back him to beat both back to back same night. but thats not entirely my reasoning for him going up above them. my reason is recent resume.aicheligad wrote: β15 Sep 2021, 06:05 And to be honest, I am not sure that Yoka would beat Ortiz or Pulev even at this point of their careers.

Exactly. We should re-evaluate our ratings from scratch every six months otherwise you get a situation where you might feel as I do that maybe Yoka deserves ranking above the undeserving Luis Ortiz, but maybe doesn't quite deserve to go ahead of Chisora just yet.Ruthless-RKO wrote: β14 Sep 2021, 12:11 6.Andy Ruiz Jr - 34(22) 2(0) 0 - next fight: TBA
