And eagle-eyed fans of ‘The Bronze Bomber’ have found footage which further supports the star’s claims.
In a video posted to YouTube, it shows Fury preparing for his bout vs German Christian Hammer back in February 2015, and an issue from the Brit’s corner forced the referee to delay the beginning of the fight.
When checking Fury's gloves, the referee noticed that one of them was tampered with due to a detached left thumb part which had been cut from the base, leading fans to believe Fury and/or his team had perhaps removed padding from the glove.
Viewers also commented on Fury’s reaction and body language following the ref’s discovery, with him clearly a bit concerned that the issue was highlighted.
The star stood in his corner, with his eyebrows raised, looking around the ring as more people got involved to tend to the issue.

Fans in the comment section were also pretty damning on Fury, saying his body language gave the game away entirely.
One said: "Notice his reaction. Fury acts like he isn’t paying attention otherwise more attention would be drawn to it. New gloves should be unblemished. It’s as simple as that. The ref caught it. The team knows it."

PT77 also believes the quick glance Fury gave to his corner told us all what we needed to know, as he wrote: "Look at the look he gives his Dad when the ref spotted the gloves. Looked very guilty to me."
