£1 to the NHS.
Shame he’s not doing anything whatsoever to help Ringside Rest and Care.
It’s infuriating how little any of the sports main players are doing.
Literally £1 extra on a ticket would generate game changing money for them and no-one would have a problem paying it

Joshua looks really slim, although camera angles can be deceptive.
That moment when you find out how cheap your undercard is to put on.

Strange that AJ is promoting this for DAZN and not Sky.
Most his income will probably come from UK PPV buys. Unless he has posted the Sky poster somewhere else..

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
I'm having a few quid on Usyk winning by stoppage, 7/1
Regarding the PPV pricing, SKY are charging 25 quid basically for just this card, whilst DAZN yank/outside UK customers get a month's viewing including this fight for $19.99 approx £15. Now I'm not advising it but couldn't a uk customer uses a VPN blocker etc to appear to be a Yank etc customer and get it on DAZN at the reduced price?

Finally a truly great matchup is about to happen. Not some other exhibition of old men or whatever.

When are the judges announced?
Surely we won't have Steve Gray or IJL in a fight of this magnitude. I'd hope Team Usyk won't allow it and the alphabet bodies would have their own guys.

Hopefully Hatton will be the first fight on where it deserves to beRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 10:07 Joshua vs Usyk fight card

I still cant belive how terrible that undercard is. Maku fight might be compeditive, because they are both not very good. Main event should be close. Rest of the card should be a demolition job.

Who would have thought. An AJ PPV without a women’s fight.gregregegg wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 15:50 I still cant belive how terrible that undercard is. Maku fight might be compeditive, because they are both not very good. Main event should be close. Rest of the card should be a demolition job.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
I think Usyk knocks Joshua out you know, I just think his styles all wrong for him, AJ's a bit stiff and Usyk is a southpaw with a loose relaxed style, great feet and movement, won't allow Joshua to use his weight and size on him, Joshua not a real bully type like Chisora anyhow, I wasn't that impressed with Joshua against Pulev but the finish was top drawer,
Usyk hardly set the division alight but he beat Chisora comfortably on my card, hurt him which shows he has power at the weight, he still has more to show and has another couple gears in him, his angles, accuracy and activity in the mid to late rounds will give Joshua fits imo
As much as I like Usyk I want Joshua to win here, for the Fury fight and saves us going for an immediate rematch

Is the fight being shown on DAZN ? Or is it only sky PPV?

I think it's only on Sky for the UK. I looked at my DAZN schedule and it's not there

I won't be surprised, if Usyk knocks Joshua out, although I pick Usyk by dec. Surely, Usyk isn't a puncher, but his power is underrated, while Joshua's chin isn't special at all.handsofstone wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 16:22 I think Usyk knocks Joshua out you know, I just think his styles all wrong for him, AJ's a bit stiff and Usyk is a southpaw with a loose relaxed style, great feet and movement, won't allow Joshua to use his weight and size on him, Joshua not a real bully type like Chisora anyhow, I wasn't that impressed with Joshua against Pulev but the finish was top drawer,

Fights without a predetermined outcome are exciting.
Uysk by decision is possible
AJ by decision is possible
Uysk by KO is possible
AJ by KO unknown
And a draw is unthinkable

Well, I will be very surprised, if Joshua outboxes Usyk. I mean, fairly outboxes, not simply gets a dec in a close fight.

no chance usyk stops aj
usyk had a bit of sting in his shots at cruiser, but at hw he hit chinny chazz witherspoon endlessly and couldnt put him down. he throws arm punches with none of his body in it
