Mmmm, bet not one fight in the undercard sees the 7th round… trash. I’ll be suprised if a fight makes it into the 5th…JamesPhilips wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 17:35Apart from Campbell Hatton who has never demolished anyonegregregegg wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 15:50 I still cant belive how terrible that undercard is. Maku fight might be compeditive, because they are both not very good. Main event should be close. Rest of the card should be a demolition job.![]()

Fair enough, I can see that too. I hope it is exciting, the undercard is not inspiring. If I'm paying for a fight, I like to watch the whole thing, but this card might be wearing the fast forward button somewhatmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 23:59 i dont see him landing enough, i think he is gonna move a lot and be very sparing with his shots
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
I believe Usyk will have a game plan that involves staying as fresh and unhurt as possible for 12 rounds and land more shots even if they are not obviously power shots , so that he can try to win by a narrow points margin / SD even .
definately dont see him being in a position to stop AJ unless the level of dancing around gets too much to bear AJ loses the plot .
AJ may be behind on the cards for a while but ultimately I would expect him to try and hurt Usyk after a couple of rounds to try and slow him down enough to be able to start landing enough of his own to take contol .
Will he go for the stoppage ? NO I doubt he takes the risk unless its on a plate .
AJ by a clear points majority for me .
he wont want to be forced into a rematch like he was with ruiz and risk the mega fight with Fury .

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
The only way I can see him stopping Joshua is if he manages to exhaust him, and Joshua would have to be pretty dumb to allow that. Usyk would have to be moving constantly throwing enough shots to be winning rounds and forcing Joshua to engage.KiwiRider wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 23:34Accumulation?margaret thatcher wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 23:32 no chance usyk stops aj

I'm surprised so many think Usyk will get a fair shake from the judges. We'll get some idea if the usual suspects are judging this. Anyone know when judges/ref would be announced?
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
If Joshua takes centre ring and uses his range, Usyk will find it hard to get in range. Joshua is also a good counter puncher and if Usyk makes his raids obvious he will get countered.

That's the thing, Joshua isn't just some musclebound slugger, he's a good boxer, and he has surprisingly quick hands. I remember being surprised that he was beating Wlad to the punch on several occasions.

Matchroom have announced signing a new deal with Joshua for the rest of his career. Making a big deal of it on the socials.
Wonder if that will put Joshua over to DAZN after this one.

Is it pay per View on global DAZN or just part of the subscription?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 19:10Yh only Sky in the UK. DAZN is anywhere else worldwideJamesPhilips wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 18:19I think it's only on Sky for the UK. I looked at my DAZN schedule and it's not there
If you have DAZN can you use a VPN to see it in the UK?
I'll be buying this from Sky as its too big a fight to take risks. I'll pay the 25

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
LOL Campbell Hatton working out. Even Matt Macklin can’t force himself to big him up. Just talking him down. Hatton looked like a half decent club amateur no better. His chin goes in the air when he opens up and he can’t punch at all. Also he was totally gassed after that session…. Again

I think aj is gonna find a way to win, after having a f*****g hard night in there with usyk
But nelson is just embarassing, geezers opinion just literally isnt worth s**t
Imagine a lad new to the sport, listening to a fool like nelson he would think usyk poses little threat at all,
Shouldlnt be allowed nowhere near a broadcast

This bird is effin awful too….. says something. Then contradicts herself or admits she’s talking nonsense. I can’t even be sure who it is? Is it Woolhouse?

Why did they choose Nelson who is not only awful at this but was never a big name or a popular fighter?

AJ has been hurt-to-KOd by Wlad, Pov, White, Ruiz and was wary of Joe Parker.
Usyk could have ‘grown in to’ the weight better now too.
