Anyway, I think Charlo vs Andrade fight would not be so hard to make and both fighters would earn big M's. 7-8 M's for each other fighter are big paydays.

On them and they can stuff themselves.
Too right mate.
And when it happens, I nearly fall of the couch laughing.

You're flat wrong that Andrade doesn't want to face Charlo or GGG. He's made that clear.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑22 Sep 2021, 11:45I agree with you there, but it is what it is...apollo creed wrote: ↑22 Sep 2021, 11:29These are fights for paper champs. Demetrius Andrade is likely to face Jason Quigley next, with Felix Cash stepping in if the Irishman rejects Matchroom's offer.
And I'm guessing that Jermall Charlo will engage in a stay-busy bout prior to facing the eventual winner of the Munguia-Derevyanchenko WBC eliminator.
None of the top-three world rated (ESPN, The RING, TBRB etc.) middleweights want to fight each other.
The division is in a terrible state right now.
It's tragically sad to say that the most impressive victory gained by GGG, Charlo or Andrade within the last three years is Jermall's win against Derevyanchenko.
I've lost patience with the division.
Out of interest, can you name any young prospects, in their early twenties, that seem destined to dominate the division within the next two years or so, because I can’t think of any?
I’m more inclined to follow an exciting 160lbs prospect right now than veterans like GGG, Charlo or Andrade that regularly face less-than-stellar opposition.

You're right but I'm thinking if Hearn made that big offer to Charlo, I guess DAZN may back them with that money if the fight would be on DAZN.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑22 Sep 2021, 18:27Have you seen the fights Pbc is putting on fox? 7-8 million? Hearn said: "He’s got an opportunity – if he doesn’t wanna fight on DAZN, we’ve made him a massive offer, Demetrius will go and fight on FOX. It’s not a problem. He’s not expensive. It’s gonna cost them the same as [Sergiy] Derevyanchenko. As you said, [Jermall] Charlo against Demetrius Andrade is a big, big fight. It’s two great American world champions. Why are the champions not looking to face Demetrius Andrade? He was hurt tonight. He was tired tonight. He can’t make 160 forever.”
Jermall Charlo $1.25 million 60%
Sergiy Derevyanchenko $500,000 40%
Hearn is saying that Andrade(wbo belt) is a more valuable opponent for Charlo than Chenko for the same amount of money, which is true.
Now I don't know why Charlo or his handlers would not want that fight, even on FOX?

How much did Jermall Charlo receive for his spilt of the PPV revenue generated by Showtime?apollo creed wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021, 05:48You're right but I'm thinking if Hearn made that big offer to Charlo, I guess DAZN may back them with that money if the fight would be on DAZN.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑22 Sep 2021, 18:27Have you seen the fights Pbc is putting on fox? 7-8 million? How much profit did Jermall Charlo’s promotional company, LionsOnly Promotions, make from international TV revenue, gate receipts, merchandise, site fees and also advertisers?
PBC fighters earn much more money than the official purses announced by the state commissions, because they’re staging their own events.
Like I said before, I’m sure that Eddie Hearn submitted a decent offer to Jermall Charlo to fight Demetrius Andrade, but it wasn’t $7m. The Matchroom boss never disclosed the actual purse amount.
The common assumption being made by uneducated fans is that Charlo is somehow “ducking” Demetrius Andrade, despite the obvious presence of many knowledge gaps.
Also, if Demetrius Andrade was such a commercially big name, then please explain the reason why he’s only fought the likes of Walter Kautondokwa, Artur Akavov, Maciej Sulecki, Luke Keeler and Liam Williams since he signed with Matchroom, as well as the unheralded Jason Quigley highly-likely to be his next opponent?
Matchroom/DAZN have much better middleweights within their own stable, but they refuse to match them against Demetrius Andrade.
I just feel that “fear” or “cowardice” has nothing whatsoever to do with Charlo’s refusal to take the Andrade bout. It’s likely due to “greed” or “politics”.
Simply put, the $7m Andrade offer didn’t happen – it was less than that! And Charlo earned much more than $1.25m for the Derevyanchenko bout.
Re: Who do you think Mall Charlo and Andrade will fight next?
The thing is, Andrade and Charlo is a 50-50 fight, with the winner getting a bigger fight hopefully. Only one of them is willing though. Andrade should move up. Fight Benevidez or another top guy.

Indeed. Andrade is willing to make that fight and yeah there is no point to waste that much time @ 160 and he should move up. I think Benavidez would gladly take this fight and not act like Charlito.

lol Son, you are overestimating Charlo's earning like they are some known boxing stars like Canelo, AJ, GGG or Pacquiao. Re: Who do you think Mall Charlo and Andrade will fight next?
Why the F not?!! It’s about time these “avoided” fighters stopped bitching and started using each other more creatively. Like Ward & Gatti masterfully did. If these 2 are waiting for their PPV breakthrough fight that elevates them into stardom then they need to put weed away. They each lack the fan support to ever have that crossover marketability. But perhaps with each other, they could have a sequence of entertaining fights that would do more for them than a Canelo/GGG would do. Time, she’s a tick in’ for both guys careers. At some point, someone needs to think outside of the box.apollo creed wrote: ↑22 Sep 2021, 06:10 I mean c'mon man these "champs" need to stop staying safe and protect their "0".
Charlo could move up at 168 and fight Benavidez and still keep that 160 wbc title if he wants to. Charlo didn't look so good in his last fight against Montiel- a B level fighter, and he should start thinking of stepping up bc his prime is going away.
Andrade could fight Eubank Jr or even BJS and I think DAZN would put some good money in these fights. As well, Andrade is wasting his time fighting stiffs.
Re: Who do you think Mall Charlo and Andrade will fight next?
Would Andrade automatically be a mandatory if he moves up or doesn't that apply to all belts?
Regardless, he can't let his prime slip away, even if Canelo, Charlo, Mungia, or GGG won't fight him. Eubank jr would, as would Benevidez. Benevidez in a couple years may beat them all, including Canelo. Better to fight him now. Andrade is 6'1", probably walks around at 185. Reminds me of Paul Williams having to move up from welter. Floyd said "Paul who?"

I don't know if Andrade and his handlers thought about Eubank Jr or Benavidez as possible options but one thing is for sure that time is ticking away pretty fast.

Re: Who do you think Mall Charlo and Andrade will fight next?
I think yes but It would not matter bc after Canelo will fulfill his dream to unify @ 168 , he'd probably vacate those belts bc he doesn't like to be forced to fight someone. He is his own boss and he makes his own moves whenever he wants.Bandog wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021, 14:14 Would Andrade automatically be a mandatory if he moves up or doesn't that apply to all belts?

Indeed his resume is poor. I wonder if he thought about fighting Eubank Jr or Benavidez..........or maybe he waits that somehow Canelo calls him out.

Have I highlighted some inconvenient truths you either haven’t considered or preferred to ignore?
Don’t be a coward, answer those simple questions honestly… if you don’t know the answers, then say so, but if you do, then provide some proof to justify your beliefs.
No red herrings or diversionary tactics, just answer those two simple questions.
You can even keep calling me “son”, if it makes you feel less insecure about your lack of knowledge.
And out of courtesy, why did you exclude part of my post that provides ridiculously important facts about Andrade’s terribly dire resume?
Did I mention more inconvenient truths that embarrass you to the point you became incontinent?
