I think they're considering £24.95, same as AJ's recent PPV price.

If they were gonna stick at £19.95, they would have announced it already..

Think the big gypsy will be way over confident going in with a danger man like DW, who still hits like a freight train. I reckon a much more focused Wilder catches him this time, in about 6 rounds.

Jared Anderson vs. Vladimir Tereshkin on October 9th

Jared “Big Baby” Anderson will make his pay-per-view debut in his 10th professional fight on the all-heavyweight undercard of Fury vs. Wilder III at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on October 9. Anderson will open the PPV broadcast in a showdown with veteran Vladimir Tereshkin (22-0-1) of Russia in what could be the toughest test of Anderson’s career.

Anderson was just eight years old when Tereshkin turned professional in 2007 but his opponent’s experience doesn’t discourage the talented American heavyweight who has never been one to shy away from a challenge.

The 21-year-old former amateur standout has caught the eye of many in the boxing world with his successful run in the Top Rank bubble and the valuable sparring work he gave Tyson Fury ahead of his second fight with Deontay Wilder. He is now ready to step into the spotlight on October 9 and impress once again.

Anderson was not deterred by the fight postponement and has remained focused and in the gym since the card was delayed in July. He often works with and alongside fellow top athletes and he had the chance to do so while training in Houston, working out with former world title contender Bryant Jennings and fellow heavyweight prospect Efe Ajagba.

His ability to remained focused on his craft and prepared for any challenge has served him well throughout his professional career. While most boxers struggled to remain active during the early days of the pandemic, Anderson scored five victories in the Top Rank bubble.

Since entering the paid ranks in October of 2019, Anderson has not gone to a decision, scoring stoppage victories in all nine of his pro fights.

In addition to his talent in the boxing ring, Anderson is known for his gregarious personality and creativity which is often featured in his in-ring attire. His previous uniforms have included a variety of themes, including a Chucky doll and a chef, so fans are surely in for a treat on October 9.

Anderson returned to Las Vegas over the weekend to complete final preparations for October 9 and will remain in Sin City with coaches Darrie Riley and Kay Koroma through fight night.

His shoulders look really under developed in the recent shots I've seen of him. The problem is that when Tyson isn't focused and doesn't train right he can look awful. And this is dangerous against Wilder. I will wait till the weigh in to make a confident prediction.

Both previous fights were thrilling in their own way. Everybody is bummed out because we didn't get AJ-Fury, but as the third fight approaches and AJ has to get past Usyk (which I don't think he will) you have to figure that Fury and Wilder together have both made for fun fights in the first two and the third should be fun too. You can only judge this era when it's gone. A lot of fighters have had rematches and trilogies and there's nothing wrong with the situation really if you disregard all the politics and social media waffling. We're getting good fights in this era and I bet we look back on it fondly in the future, when everybody forgets all the shenanigans and delays and just remembers the boxing.

Fury definitely looks lighter to me, but I won't count out camera angles until the weigh-in. But supposing it's true, it either means he hasn't trained hard, or he HAS. He might be in the shape of his life.

If not, as daft as it is to favour Wilder at this point, I still might. They both went into the rematch feeling they'd won the first, but this time there's no doubt who's currently on top, so if Wilder's ever to undo his years of circumspect boxing it'll be for this one. I think he'll do the ringwalk all fired up and revert to type when it starts, when he needs to just go for it (as we all said last time).

The difference now is that it's clearly his last chance saloon, and also a fight that Fury didn't want, so you never know. Fury's won and drawn already, so how hard it must be for him to get motivated.

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder TV price sparks fury among boxing fans

Boxing fans have come together to slam the £24.95 pay-per-view price confirmed by BT Sport for the trilogy bout between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder next month

Boxing fans have slammed the latest pay-per-view price for Tyson Fury's trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder.

The pair will meet for the third time in Las Vegas on October 9, with the fight rescheduled after a coronavirus outbreak in the Briton's camp.

And Fury will be looking to produce the same dominant display that handed him a historic seventh-round stoppage defeat last time out.

But fans have questioned the price of the broadcast which is set at £24.95 for viewers in the UK in the early hours of the morning.

One fan posted on Twitter : "£25 is fine for 10pm main event but bit harsh for 4am when I'll probably sleep through."

Another said: "24.95 for a 5am PPV for a fight no one asked for?"

One said: "£25 for 4am fight. Only a fool is paying for this to see a 3rd fight that we already know the outcome."

Another also said: "Terrible fight and terrible price. Can’t compare this to the absolute special night we got from AJ. Hearn is levels above."

The prices of pay-per-views have often been criticised, with Sky Sports Box Office also charging the same price for Joshua's defeat to Usyk on Saturday night.

With it being a third clash between the pair, the fight has already been questioned with promoter Eddie Hearn blaming its initial cancellation on "poor ticket sales".

“There was no broadcaster in the UK announced. You know he has a contract with BT? They never announced the fight. They sold no tickets," he previously told the DAZN Boxing Show.

“Basically, you could go online and check. I don’t know whether it was 25% or 30% of the tickets have been sold, but that’s disastrous. There was no hype. This was going to do very, very poor pay-per-view numbers.

"The whole thing stank, it is so disjointed everywhere, you have about eight people working on the fight who don't like each other.

"It's very strange for them to say it's now happening in October, especially if Bob Arum is saying Fury was vaccinated."

Fury has now rejected the second coronavirus vaccination, to prevent any further disruption to the fight next month.
