Fury & Wilder Gone!?
Why has BoxRec taken both Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury out of their top heavyweight list? Go check it out, they are not listed anymore.

Inactive.
It sure changes the look of the top 10 eh?

I am pretty sure if you wait about 16 days , they’ll be back in
Re: Fury & Wilder Gone!?
I seem to remember this happening automatically last month. Fair enough really that was 18 months of inactivity

I disagree. Unless fighters announce a retirement, or they are inactive and over the age of say, 42, they should still be listed. But that's just me. Especially two top heavyweights that are consistently in the top 10 and already have a scheduled fight against each other. Now, if someone like Luis Ortiz is inactive for over a year, and is in his 40's, that's another story.
Speaking of this fight coming up in October, I believe Fury will be victorious once again. Wilder will be a bit more competitive, and probably will be able to go the distance. But Fury's "feints" just seem to perplex Wilder too much. And Wilder getting his eardrum broken in the last fight, which really affected Wilder for the rest of the fight, probably won't happen again in this fight. I predict Fury W12.

I have a horrible feeling the fight won’t go ahead. I hope I’m wrong.

I'd like to think that if the fight was going to get cancelled it would have happened by now.

I'm of the opinion there needs to be a line drawn somewhere. It will be nearly 20 months by the time they fight.HeavyHitters wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021, 11:11 I disagree. If I'm not mistaken you have to go back to the days of Joe Louis to find a longer period of inactivity between championship fights. And that's only because there was a bloody war on
