Are you serious?

Browne is simply shot; he has no punch resistance at all. You must have seen fighters like that before?

Gallen is limited but he is a strong fit guy with a decent punch. When that type of fighter meets a fellow who can no longer take a punch, that's the usual outcome.
I don't know surely no living man who has boxed as a pro could be THAT inept and that chinny?

I was chuffed to bits for Browne when he went over to Chechnya and upset Chagaev, he's a bit of a joke now

Those of you that think Browne made Dave Allen look like Ali should perhaps watch the fight back, I had Browne winning at the time of the stoppage and it was a peach of a left hook downstairs from the Doncaster de la Hoya.

Im not saying Browne is going to win, of course not. He is well past his sell by date but he is an ex world champ and is a name on the record of Babic.

Lets not forget Babic's last opponent was non punching Mark Bennet who took Babic into deep waters and would have been interesting if Bennet had power. Id like to think Browne still has a bit of power, if Browne can survive the first 3 then he will have a punchers chance, thats all.

3 fights ago Babic was in with Tom Little. Id say that Browne is a better opponent than Little.
I understand where you are coming from. But Lucas seems like one of the nice guys, young family etc..
And it would be terrible if something bad happened to him.
He just looked so vulnerable last time out, and 42 ain't no spring chicken in the hardest hitting division.

Browne must be getting paid a whack, given the sort of quarantine he faces when heading back to Australia. Maybe he's going to stay in the UK for a fight or two more?

I've a soft spot for the big lug, I hope he goes well v the Savage.

Browne was a "never was" if ever there was one.

He beat Chagaev but then got busted for PEDS. One assumes he stopped cheating or cut down dramatically and the subsequent results tell their own story.

Babic is good entertainment on the undercards, but Hearn's proved again that he is a proper cxxx making this match :shame:

He indeed had never been special. Actually, he simply caught Chagaev back then. He was gradually taking a beating and then he landed. Moreover, it was an old and fat version of Chagaev.

The fat Chagaev was actually about the lightest fighter Browne had fought at that stage in his career!!

I thought at the time and still do that was a massive upset. Wasn't it in Chagaev's backyard too?

Even worse - it was in sodding Chechnya! Not the sort of place where you want to annoy the locals, for whom Chagaev was a hero.

Right! I would never have expected Browne to win. Maybe Chahaev hadn’t trained properly and was about to retire. He never fought again I think.

Fights off, not sure why Browne has or has been pulled out.

Babic still on the card tho although the opponent now will have about 2 weeks notice.

I’m glad. Hopefully they’re able to find a decent replacement as Babic is always good value.

Good that this joke is off. If brown is going to get battered let it be by a real novice. Johnny fisher vs brown on the Parker chis undercard? That I would like to see.

There’s an awful lot of ok heavyweights I’d rather see Babic in with at 2 weeks notice than seeing him fight Browne.
