Maxim Prodan v Florian Marku
What are your thoughts on this fight?
The bookies have Marku 3-1 favourite…. Not sure why it’s that long?
Both unbeaten with one draw and with decent KO rate but Prodan more experienced. Marku is hardly a can’t miss prospect…

Prodan looks a genuine welterweight which is more than Marku’s been facing of late.

From the records it looks an even fight (obviously except Florian is the promotional favourite.)jameswilson wrote: ↑20 Sep 2021, 16:16 Prodan looks a genuine welterweight which is more than Marku’s been facing of late.
Re: Maxim Prodan v Florian Marku
Prodan is an athletic beast but has average skills. Florian hits hard and is a better boxer. A risk for both guys.
Re: Maxim Prodan v Florian Marku

Definitelty in with a more lively opponent here

I have had a small punt on Prodan at 5/1 because theirs no way he should be that long. For me Marku only has hype and in his last 2 fights hasnt looked good and got put down by Charlton.
But i do think Marku wins rnd 8 onwards

Re: Maxim Prodan v Florian Marku
I like Marku but he embarrassed himself today. Wanting to fight Prodan from 50ft away with many bodies that would stop him around.
Look how timid Marku was in Hearn’s backyard when he ‘confronted’ Benn.
I hope he gets beat… we need characters but not this dramatic.

TBF Benn was standing there with his Mrs and kid, so I think that’s why Marku was restrained. His outburst today was the only small bit of light entertainment in an otherwise very boring press conference.

Yeah it was a bit boring… but good not to see too much ‘beef’….. Usyk was quite funny just by his weird reactions and laughs thoughManchester Hitman wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021, 16:33TBF Benn was standing there with his Mrs and kid, so I think that’s why Marku was restrained. Re: Maxim Prodan v Florian Marku
Marku tried some gangsta style at te presser. Looked a bit clumsy with that tactics, like an angry fella from the kebab shop.
Re: Maxim Prodan v Florian Marku
At least he did something. I don’t remember much else from that press conference.

Been on a few holidays in Albania, and actually no problems or issues at all, for some reason we seem to get hotheaded ones here .Oiky wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021, 10:47Youre not wrong mateJamesPhilips wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021, 09:19Yes loads of ‘beef!” Lol mind you all the Albanians I know have a quick temper

Yes relatively it is, get some great Airbnb deals on accommodation, it's not a country that has a bar culture , mainly the cafe type thing, local beers and wine is cheap , food is great balken fare , loads of bakeries . English isn't spoken much even in Tirana , but I go mainly on my own and get by ok.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 05:42Yeah I'd like to go and check out the Balkans. Cheap car hire, driving can be an experience, some incredible road routes in the mountains.

Thanks. Sounds like somewhere at least not ruined by tourism!Old bones Ian wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021, 16:39Yes relatively it is, get some great Airbnb deals on accommodation, it's not a country that has a bar culture , mainly the cafe type thing, local beers and wine is cheap , food is great balken fare , loads of bakeries . Is Prodan part of Usyk’s team? I saw him holding a Ukrainian flag. I’ve never watched him fight but if Usyk’s team have requested that he’s on the card then you’d have to imagine he’s decent
