How much will the fighters earn?
Joshua - £15 million+
Usyk - £3 million (could rise to as high as £5m)

I’m glad I looked on here, Ousely v Baysangurov was just about the only other fight I was interested in.
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
Will this be on BBC radio 5 live or talksport tonight?
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
I have Dazn until October, is the fight live on there too?

Just saw they Joshua stopped Joe Joyce in a round in the amateurs.
I didn’t know that. Obviously Joe was a novice but does anyone have info / have they seen this fight?

Usyk, on the other hand, has a TKO 1 loss to Siarhei Karneyeu, which... never happened. Even Karneyeu denied that he ever defeated Usyk. There is no footage (obviously), as well. They fought twice, Usyk won twice.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑25 Sep 2021, 09:31 Just saw they Joshua stopped Joe Joyce in a round in the amateurs.

Hatton is too far up the card again, 3rd from last. I wanted to catch the Marku fight but it's early

I think around the same time at similar weight there was another Usyk boxing in Ukraine. I read an article on it. May have got the two confused.aicheligad wrote: ↑25 Sep 2021, 09:43Usyk, on the other hand, has a TKO 1 loss to Siarhei Karneyeu, which... never happened. But I’m surprised no one’s mentioned Joyce-Joshua if it did ever happen as both are close to a fight now. I know they were on the England team and sparred a lot and I’ve seen an interview where Joyce basically admits to flooring Joshua (I know AJ seems to get floored every time he spars

You are right. A dude named Oleksandr Usyk fought at Nikolai Manger tournament in Kherson, in BoxRec, Usyk (the one we all know) has also 2 wins from the same tournament, in which he didn't participated.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑25 Sep 2021, 10:15I think around the same time at similar weight there was another Usyk boxing in Ukraine. I have never heard Joshua-Joyce too. Wonder if there is some footage. If someone knows where to find it, please post it here

It says it was Joe's amateur debut. You'd think someone would have made more of that at some point, wouldn't you?JamesPhilips wrote: ↑25 Sep 2021, 09:31 Just saw they Joshua stopped Joe Joyce in a round in the amateurs.

Joyce lost to Sergey Kuzmin by TKO 1 as well, there a footage of that fight, it could look similar I guess:

Yeah but the Amateur records are incomplete at this stage. I would imagine Joe had had a few fights previously, 5-10 Prob.Cyclops wrote: ↑25 Sep 2021, 10:31It says it was Joe's amateur debut. Also looking at Joshua’s record, he has been fighting at top international level for years so why do the DAZN / Sky faces keep repeating ‘he’s still learning’ ‘he hasn’t been boxing long’ ‘he’s not long last novice stage’ it’s ridiculous

Hatton facially looks like his dad, and tries to be all action style too .. but he does not have his dad's skill set.
Even as an amateur Hatton snr was very good - Hatton jr is very bad .. actually shockingly bad considering who he has around him and advantages he has at this early stage of his pro career.

So, who finally will be in Usyk's corner? Anatoliy Lomachenko and Ivan Holub?
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 25 September 2021
So no UK Dazn coverage? I'm going to listen in bed anyway but was interested to know as replay may be on tomorrow
