Indeed Usyk is a boxing magician.

As I said before:

I think the power&size would play a major key in this fight but not so major as the will and the skills. Usyk is not a big puncher and pretty much I think Joshua would try to overpower him. A very important factor for Usyk is that he'll come very motivated and hungry in this fight knowing its a unique occasion for him to get AJ's belts and unify with Fury. Also Usyk is undefeated and AJ not.

If the judging would be fair I have Usyk winning by decision.

Yes this fight could be a nightmare for Joshua.

Maybe his best chance is to strike early as Usyk is usually a slow starter.

Whatever prep Usyk has planned there's no getting away from the fact that AJ will be the most skilled and powerful opponent he has faced.

There's also no getting away from the fact that Joshua is a true champion.

He honoured his fight against Ruiz (after Miller's protectors let him down) and now he's honouring what could be a very troublesome matchup against the best technical boxer in the division.

Good on Anthony, this is what real champions are supposed to do.
Yup, AJ is a true champion indeed. Nothing to take away from him. If Aj goes all guns blazing early in the fight and not being gun shy, he may have a good chance to T/KO Usyk but I think Usyk is gonna be very well prepared for everything. AJ is robotic and he's fighting upright and stiff. Usyk has a very good movement, fundamentals and angles.

Imo it's a very intriguing boxing match! :box:

You went really hard on the usyk can’t win path mags. Sad day for ya. Normally I see your predictions and completely agree, so I was surprised to see you on the usyk no chance team.

I will say people are getting pretty amped about correctly predicting a 3/1 underdog….

not a sad day at all, was a great performance with a fair decision, i'd rather have that than get a shitty fight and be right :TU:

As I said, AJ should've gone all guns blazing early in the fight and not being gun shy to have a chance to stop Usyk.

Ol' bulky AJ from the Whyte, W.K and Breazeale fights should've came out vs Usyk.

Anyway Usyk vs Fury would be a very fine boxing art match. :box:

Innit.

fornicating weirdos. 44% of us who replied to the poll for prediction of the fight had Usyk winning, yet some people are convinced they're Nastro-fvcking-damos.
I predicted an Usyk points win as well, for the record, but the idea of making a self-congratulatory thread or post is just beyond cringe.

I think old bulky & aggressive Joshua would have collapsed with exhaustion mid to late rounds if he tried those tactics against Usyk.

Usyk has his number.

Probably but he would be his only decent chance. Trying to box Usyk is very, very hard.

AJ is trying to rethink his strategy for rematch but his big problem is Usyk is not Ruiz.

I think Usyk in rematch would be much better and frustrate AJ even more.

Also what is funny is that people talk about power. lol Usyk is not the "Malignaggi" of HW division. Usyk is a big fighter with very GOOD strength and conditioning too. And at the end of the day this is the art of boxing, not a slapping competition.

The great thing about AJ is he's fighting everybody. He's no ducking or cherrypicking!

I'm rooting for Fury to stop Wilder! :box:

The aspect I never saw coming at all is that all three judges appear to have scored the fight honestly.

I thought Uysk would win on points or maybe stop AJ late, and he almost did.
I remembered his performance from the WBSS and not from the Chisora fight.
If you want a champion to fight you these days, be unbeaten and don't look too good :TU:
