Usyk.... confident on that. Fury seems to have got given a god like status for beating up Deontay Wilder....have people forgotten how shit Wilder is?

Wlad was defensively sound, but very static, and Wilder's famous for his poor footwork. Fury's never faced anyone who moves as well as Usyk, who — unlike most of Fury's other potential opponents — doesn't need a stoppage to win. I can definitely see Usyk landing clean shots more often, largely nullifying Fury's herky-jerky feints and making him commit to jabs that, while incredibly long, are to him quite slow. And he can take Fury's power until he tires.

And that's the ultimate question: can Fury tire him before it goes to the cards? If not, I think Fury loses. Because we can't forget Cunningham, who despite being less talented than Usyk gave him a fight until size told. Yeah, that was a long time ago and Fury's improved, but that's balanced out by a superior foe.

If Usyk can't deal with the clinching and leaning and rogue elbows and all that, he'd be in serious trouble. And it's impossible to discount that factor. I can certainly imagine Fury having a point taken. At the same time, Fury's never been made to work seriously hard over 12 (unless I'm misremembering Wilder 1?).

So if Usyk's too crafty to get tied-up on the regular, I'm predicting his movement's a league above in open play. With a good camp and no injuries, I'd back him to win on points.

Other than size (which might decide it), the main difference I see is that Fury hasn't outmanoeuvred a mover (these Big Usyk comparisons feel a bit premature), and his power isn't enough to overly intimidate Usyk with its reach.

Weight and how it factors is obviously central to the outcome. I think I'm just drawn to Usyk because he has great momentum right now and a Holyfield-like mindset.

Let's let all the excitement over Usyk's win over AJ calm down a bit before we all start elevating to above Fury. Fury is huge; strong; can brawl (see wilder II); and obviously is just as wiley as usyk in the ring but on a much larger body.

And if you look at his record, who was great at presenting almost constant movement? McDermott; Chisora; Wlad; Wilder...

Another thing: Chisora, Wlad and Wilder (and probably Haye) were intimidated by Fury. Usyk wouldn't be, nor Joyce. And I think Wlad realised he'd been unnecessarily cautious, hence really wanting a rematch.

I don't think Wallin's all that as a boxer, just mentally a bit more able to stand up to Fury than most, and I fancy Whyte stops him. The one thing I don't underrate Fury for is intelligence. I think his abilities are overrated, but not his insight.

This is going to be an awful fight to watch. There might be more feinting than punching. I think Fury wins on the cards in a snoozer with a lot of disputable rounds.

Usyk all day. Fury won a dreadful fight versus wlad, but as time goes on this will be remembered as a masterclass for whatever reason. Fury is a big guy who is unorthodox....but doesn't do anything particularly well apart from know how to use his size. Maybe I just still can't let go of the memories of the fat lad with curtains who couldn't throw a jab and nearly banjod himself with an uppercut.
