Angel Fernandez

Post by garethhop »

Just reading his story in Boxing News. So odd. How on earth a guy like this ends up being a pivotal guy in the Heavyweighg Champs camp I do not know.

His main claim to fame is getting in touch with Ismael Salas on Instagram but then getting blocked.

Boxing eh. Poor old Rob McCracken.

Just read it online

https://nmagstars.com/en/individual-spo ... ning-team/

Maybe I will have a good chance of being in his corner for the rematch!

I saw that he said he got kicked out of Lansbury ABC, by the head coach because he was jealous of his padwork!

Adam Spelling is the gaffer there, Adam would def kick him out for being a cock! Not for jealousy over padwork though!!

Is that the same Adam Spelling who boxed for St.Georges ABC (in Stepney) ? He had lovely style.

Think they would of been better off consulting and paying AJ's original ameteur trainer , than this fella , he just seems to be a chancer who's good at making internet instragram freinds ,

I just read the article in boxing news. Very odd man. Blames everyone else for whatever, is constantly talking about hating people, seems to have no real background in boxing….. claims he was thrown out of gyms and blocked for being too good at pads or whatever. Claims an unbeaten 10 amateur fights….. he seems a bullsh1tter and the way he goes on, reminds me of a narcissistic fantasist. No idea why Joshua sought to have him on his team. Was it him shouting ‘brilliant boxing brilliant’ all the time? Seems the type. The Spanish Tunde.

Hahaha the Spanish love child of Tunde & Fournier

What the fcuk can he bring to the camp of a Olympic golf medalist and world champion that couldn’t have been obtained from another, more proven guy.

The other bloke, who kept shouting how great AJ was doing whilst getting thoroughly outboxed was from Wolverhampton apparently.

The "brilliant boxing Aj! Brilliant! Brilliant footwork! Brilliant" man should've been told to shut up by security. Imagine how loud that must've been for those at Ringside if we could hear it so clearly on TV..... now which member of Joshua's team is from Wolverhampton? :D

I forgot about Whitaker. Seriously, where is AJ's head if he is watching Sandy Ryan and Ben Whitaker and deciding "I need what they're on"?

and what on earth does Trainer of world champions and olympic gold medallists Robert McCracken think about all of the unqualified chancers making noise in his corner?

he surely can't be thrilled with that?

A bit disrespectful to call them unqualified chancers. We all know local guys who know their stuff, who are not known to the masses.

Have a read. It appears AJ himself has got to know this coach watching him work other boxers in Sheffield, done a session, enjoyed it, and decided himself to take the plunge! A natural process. Is it gonna ‘fix’ him? Maybe not, but if it feels right, do it!

Not sure about poor old rob mcracken, he is as much to blame in that corner as anybody, shouting to aj from the corner "great boxing" about the very basics of the game  that were very ineffective, mcracken had his man,who is more effective trying to have a raw fight, trying to outbox a far superior boxer and had absolutely no plan B at all,in a fight of that magnitude that is shocking

I think mccracken is a decent guy & a good trainer,i like his style and the way he carries himself but i think he is more suited to his role in the ams with the team gb camp,he didnt appear to show he understood the sport at all with joshua, and joshua has actually declined in ability since they are trying to make "a boxer" out of him, where he is much better as a fighter, i think Tony Sims done far better for Joshua than mccracken

Mccracken i rate in his own right, but not sure at pro level you should lack as much as he did in a f*****g fight for all the belts  if something aint working you get that through to your man in the corner as quick as you can,not keep yelling great boxing like a fanboy at what is clearly not great boxing, just the basics, against an opponent who is showing you what great boxing is!

a lot of people in boxing have come out publicly to criticise the corners performance in that fight and in particular the extras who nobody has a clue about .

McCracken should put his foot down and insist on a change .
