He really needs to hire a trainer like Sugar Hill - someone who will help him leverage his physical advantages, then a couple of gimmee fights when he can build confidence with a more aggressive style before getting back in with any of the top heavyweights. If he continues with trying to outbox boxers and this safety first approach he’s finished as a world champion.

Yes, they are cashing in, but they can do it even after they get slapped again.
Yeah. Would he have paid Joshua a signing Bois for his new contract? Or just given him a bigger percentage? Hearn realises he has a busted flush and looking to cash in

If only Hughie was more active in fights. AJ wouldn't be made to work hard enough

His needs to get rid of joby & angle keep rob but bring in other trainers who can work with rob, the problem is rob left AJ with them 2 while his was in Tokyo. And to be fair from what I heard about joby he walks the streets bare foot and hasn’t really got a clue which could be seen with his cheer leading every time AJ got hit!!! He was shouting great footwork while rob was saying push him back with the jab!!

Yeah I noticed that, another example of too many voices. I’m sure I heard some stuff contradicting McCracken during the break as well

Yes but imagine the sell: the white Muhammad Ali vs the black David Price…. PPV… £39.95

Joshua has a phycological problem about getting hit after his loss to Ruiz. It's hardly surprising. He needs to get his mojo back. A fight with Hughie would give AJ too many problems, I don't think Fury bangs very hard so a decent work out with him would do him the world of good.

There is proberly only 1 more loss in AJ so he has to go shit or bust after a decent comeback win. He's never going to hold a title for very long, imo his issue isn't as bad as David Price was but once that bell rings I imagine that KO from Ruiz becomes forefront of his thoughts.

Wlad needs to train him. They can run on the beach in short shorts and crop tops.

I think it all depends on how much longer Joshua wants to be fighting.

I suspect he just wants a couple more really mega-money fights and then win or lose to get out of the game. If that is his mind-set (and there is nothing wrong with that) then a lucrative rematch with Usyk is readily available. After that, depending how it goes, if he does want one more money match I'm sure Fury or Wilder will be willing to accommodate him.

If I'm wrong and his heart is really still in the game and he does believe he can improve and become the dominant heavyweight, then I think he needs to now take on some opponents outside the top 5 and get back on a winning roll. That's the usual way in boxing.

This post is to the point and totally correct. AJ has made more money than 99-9% of boxers will ever make and he's passed 30 in a sport that doesn't reward ageing.

Think of Joe Louis who wanted to retire but couldn't because of the bastards at the IRS who continued to insist that Joe owed taxes from two fights where he took no payment (he devoted them to the world-war 2 effort). Talk about getting screwed over by your country! Joe ended up with pugilistic dementia after carrying on for too long.

AJ quit now. It's not going to get any better. :salut:
