Past Pro or ‘celeb’ Members
Past Pro or ‘celeb’ Members
Just following on from the G A Davies thread, where a few old Boxrec members were mentioned..
We have….
Woodhouse & Gavin. I’m sure Woodhouse baited Gavin on Boxrec actually.
Smigga (P. Smith)
I’m pretty sure Eubank Snr posts, but does not interact.
Bomber1 (Bellew) I’m sure righthook is connected. The Clev fight was baited here too.
Frank/Kellie Maloney
Warmachine (A lovely guy for an ex armed robber, but f@ck me his piss was radioactive! Was it 14 illegal substances in his blood?)
Eric Guy is known inside the game. He’s active here.
Weren’t Haye here once upon a time?
Anyway. Discuss past ‘known’ members..

People used to say they were all driven off the forums by trolls. I don't agree, most headed off to Twitter, FB and Instagram. Twitter in particular has far more vicious trolls.
It was probably in their business interest to build themselves up on the social media accounts.

I've seen Twitter described as "like being able to read every public toilet wall in the world"peter barlow wrote: ↑01 Oct 2021, 11:16 People used to say they were all driven off the forums by trolls. It's not far from the truth really, it's a cesspool.

Re: Past Pro or ‘celeb’ Members
It's always the ones you would never think, but I'd say Billy Wright as he had just pure brute strength.
In sparring there has been some hard hitters. I fought ok guys but sparred the best of em.
Here's a top 5 for power:
1. Shane Cameron
2. Duncan Dokiwari
3. Mike Tyson
4. David Tua
5. Wladimir Klitschko
I had a hard time picking #5 as I have more memories of Vassiliy Jirov power over Wlads, but Wlad surely could crack.
