Seriously though, the odds have it roughly right. I'd say Wilders' chances are about 30%. He doesn't speak the king's English, but I think he's somewhat articulate. He can put thoughts together; sort of.![]()

Yeah, Wilder will be beaten badly and with his age he can be close to an end.adislav123 wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 13:08 nah, no 4th frikkin fight! beating him 3 times should be enuff!
wilder will get beat up badly. he will lick his wounds for at least a year.
then he should get another severe hiding from dillian whyte.
wilder is finished.

My bad; you said Wilder winning isn't "Out of the question. I elevated it to "decent."
As Dave Mason would say, "We Just Disagree."

He can't put a coherent sentence together.
All he does is repeat buzz words and phrases like a parrott with or without any semblance of meaning or context.
It's like someone trains him.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
I certainly agree with what I B & U, but what he says usually makes sense and is coherent. Fury isn't exactly an Oxford scholar either, but he can be hysterically funny.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 13:50ive seen ppl here say that before and i have no idea what theyre talking about, he can hardly string coherent sentences together and says so much stupid sh!t its hard to keep track. simply talking a lot doesnt mean you do it articulatelyTony1244 wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 12:43Wilder is going to bring back the title where it belongs! he speaks english so i can understand many of the words he says, that's about the biggest compliment i can give, articulate my arse
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
"Articulate" may not have been the perfect word, but he makes simple points that are understandable. I totally disagree that his statements lack meaning.KiwiRider wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 14:10Are you kidding me Tony?Tony1244 wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 12:43Wilder is going to bring back the title where it belongs! Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
just seems like a weird guy to bring up to compliment for articulateness, for some reason some posters on here repeatedly try to make the association and its kinda strange. there are far more guys out there who talk more intelligently and clearly. wilder is loud but has difficultly getting his sentences out (stumbles over himself all the time) and when he does it often totally stupid sh!t like 'fury used juju on me'
but if you see him as some deep, articulate, well thought out dude, go for it, just cant see it myself

you said he's articulate bruh, close enough
of course there are other boxers out there with poor language skills, loads of them in the game. just like theres loads who speak better than dw. the man can hardly speak without tripping over himself or saying something incredibly stupid. if he's articulate id hate to see what isnt!

Articulate means being able to speak fluently and coherently. I can understand virtually everything he says. Perhaps I have a special gift.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
WHO. CARES.
Seriously, why as boxing fans do we care about how many f*cking tickets they sell? It's a working class sport: most of us moan about it being PPV saying we can't afford that. Honestly, boxing fans do my head in sometimes. It's a fight between two of the top 5, with a pretty stacked undercard. How many of us can afford to even fly to America at the moment, let alone do a weekend in Vegas? And I couldn't give a toss whether it's sold out or not. It's a fight. Enjoy the fight. May the best man win.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
Even in that brilliant little video where they send a message to each other and Fury says "I'm gonna smash your fornicating face in. You prick. How's that for a fornicating message?" (which I showed to my elderly Mum, who pissed herself laughing at Fury's response) Wilder says "don't you go up missing now"
Who says don't go up missing? Nobody. He cannot string a sentence together. He's an awful talker.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
I'm fluent in "Jive." Deontay meant that Fury better show up.Cyclops wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 15:41Even in that brilliant little video where they send a message to each other and Fury says "I'm gonna smash your fornicating face in. Bob not happy with Kate Abdo or PBC, she was up to tricks there certainly had her PBC hat on

That's good. We don't want these rocket scientists fighting for free and then having to reschedule over a jammed thumb.

Yeah no face off seemed wise move. The presser actually was crap, Kate Abdo did not moderate well and kept interrupting.
It wasn't set up well, should have had tables, undercard guys there. Maybe the main PBC/TR chief exec guys if Haymon or Bob weren't doing it
Even though it's a co promo there's obviously tension over details

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
Who was the first poster who called a DQ? He might be able to dine out on that for a while. They literally can't be within 10 feet of each other because people are frightened they'll get into a fight and the whole thing will be off. It's that much out of control.peter barlow wrote: ↑06 Oct 2021, 18:25 Yeah no face off seemed wise move. The presser actually was crap, Kate Abdo did not moderate well and kept interrupting.

The tension was palpable at that presser
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
Wilder is healthy, in top condition, hungry, focused, and knows how to avoid rabbit punches this time. Furys blow to the back of the head in the 3rd round was the end of the fight last time, Not technically illegal since Wilder was bending over, but dirty.
The first headlock from Fury hopefully will be met with an equally illegal low blow from Wilder. Wilder will beat his flabby fat body.
I hope the ref has control this time. Last fight was a shitshow.
Fury will lose, and possibly retire.
