Tyson Fury given all-clear to fight Dillian Whyte if he overcomes Deontay Wilder!
Re: Tyson Fury given all-clear to fight Dillian Whyte if he overcomes Deontay Wilder!
If Wilder beats Fury (which I predict he will) hopefully he'll fight either Whyte or Wallin.
Re: Tyson Fury given all-clear to fight Dillian Whyte if he overcomes Deontay Wilder!
The Wilder-Fury winner (which will be Fury) will be more likely to fight Whyte, if he wins Wallin, other than Wallin, if he wins Whyte, because apparently the Whyte-Wallin bout has a rematch clause on a case of a Whyte's loss.

I think Whyte's an easy night's work for Fury, he's pretty basic. Big lump, decent power, but he's pretty poor technically.

also his worst point is his footwork, which is murder if you're fighting Fury, he'd not be so bad in a 12ft ring but otherwise he's fvckedjamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑05 Oct 2021, 08:59 I think Whyte's an easy night's work for Fury, he's pretty basic. Yeah, he looks off balance a lot of the time when he fights, he's constantly falling in with his shots.

No offence guys, whilst I also favour Fury to beat Whyte, I feel that Dillian has recently engaged in several more competitive bouts against top-ten world-rated opposition.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑05 Oct 2021, 09:08also his worst point is his footwork, which is murder if you're fighting Fury, he'd not be so bad in a 12ft ring but otherwise he's fvckedjamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑05 Oct 2021, 08:59 I think Whyte's an easy night's work for Fury, he's pretty basic. In the last 5½ years, Tyson Fury has faced Deontay Wilder (twice), Otto Wallin, Tom Schwarz, Francesco Pianeta and Sefer Seferi.
‘The Body Snatcher’ is good enough to beat all of these fighters I’ve named.
Over the equivalent time period, Dillian Whyte has faced the likes of:
• Anthony Joshua
• Alexander Povetkin (twice)
• Joseph Parker
• Dereck Chisora (twice)
• Oscar Rivas
• Robert Helenius
• Mariusz Wach
• Lucas Browne
• David Allen
• Malcolm Tann
• Ian Lewison
I think it’s more challenging for fighters to look impressive if they’re constantly engaged in tough bouts.
So I personally feel that Dillian Whyte’s boxing ability is underrated. He’s heavy handed, durable and he can fight.
I don’t think that Fury has an easy night against Whyte. It’ll be a gut check, whereby Tyson needs to dig deep in order to secure the victory.
I feel that Whyte is good enough to win four or five rounds against Fury, resulting in a 116-112 or 115-113 type decision victory for ‘The Gypsy King’.

what if wallin beats whyte, is there a rematch clause for whyte-wallin 2? is whyte still mandated wbc dude if he loses to otto?
Re: Tyson Fury given all-clear to fight Dillian Whyte if he overcomes Deontay Wilder!
Whyte has a better chance against Fury than Wilder. As one boxing expert or trainer put it, (can't remember who) he is too heavy on his front foot, easy KO for Wilder.

I will likely try and go and see this if it's in the UK. What's everyone's thoughts on whether they'll try put this in a stadium or arena? London or Vegas?
I'd happily watch Whyte Vs Fury or Wilder.

That would be a stumbling block.
Maybe there is a rematch clause, but heck that WBC silver belt is worthless. How long has he had it, how much has he paid those crooks, and how many title fights has it got him?

Mauricio Sulamain has just been interviewed by Fight-Hype and he says the winner of the Wilder-Fury bout will have one month to negotiate a title unification fight.
And if they fail to land the deal, they’ll be automatically obliged to face the WBC mandatory challenger, which will be their interim titleholder.
Of course, Oleksandr Usyk is contractually obliged to grant Anthony Joshua the immediate rematch, with the Brit highly-unlikely to be willing to step-aside.
Therefore, the winners of the Fuy-Wilder and Whyte-Wallin will inevitably be facing each other for the WBC world heavyweight championship.
If the betting favourites win their respective bouts, then we’ll definitely see Tyson Fury performing his second title defence against Dillian Whyte.

I'll believe Mauricio Sulamain when I believe Mauricio Sulamain.

Re: Tyson Fury given all-clear to fight Dillian Whyte if he overcomes Deontay Wilder!
Wallin isn't getting the shot if he wins though, only Whyte so it's not a final eliminator?
Re: Tyson Fury given all-clear to fight Dillian Whyte if he overcomes Deontay Wilder!
I'm on record on here as picking Wallin, but I hope the stars align and Fury beats up Wilder and Dillian beats Wallin, and that fight happens as Fury's 'homecoming' in Manchester, which I probably won't go to based on my experiences attended a Fury card (see the BJS "fight for the fans" post I made for the Saunders vs Eubank, Fury vs Chisora 2 fight experience). I actually like Whyte, despite chatting to a lad who trained in the same gym as him after the first Chisora fight where I said that I thought Chisora had beaten him, who was on the fence about it and seemed like he didn't agree with me out of loyalty. Whyte is a hardworking guy who is pretty funny and straight up when interviewed. I get the impression he'll always be bummed out for not taking the 'lowball' offer from AJ a few years ago when Joshua was there for the taking.
If my bet comes through on Fury I'll lump a few quid on Wallin, just because I think I'll get good odds. But I do hope Dil beats him. Whyte-Fury would be a fun fight. As boxing fans, it's all about it being fun, isn't it?

Re: Tyson Fury given all-clear to fight Dillian Whyte if he overcomes Deontay Wilder!
Whyte gives the illusion he will fight anyone, except when it comes to Ortiz. He claims Ortiz ducked him, but the only two documented cases are when the WBC ordered him twice to face Oriz in a final eliminator. Then he whines it took them so long to be mandatory. He'll never be more than a gatekeeper.

Someone who doesn't understand certain rules:Bandog wrote: ↑01 Oct 2021, 17:59He KOd him the 1st time, but ref was incompetant. 2nd fight was filled with fouls, headlocks, rabbit punches. Fury knew he got away with one, because he tried to get out of the 3rd.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑01 Oct 2021, 17:37ya agree, you getting that feeling that wilder gonna beat him this time around, like the feeling the first 2 times as well?
Wilder will destroy Fury in this fight, if Fury shows up.
1. The 10 count rule - it's a referees count of 10, which should be aproximately 10 seconds. I've timed it anyway, he was up at 10 seconds from the moment he touched down. You have no argument here
2. Rabit punch rule - punching an opponents ear because the opponent turns away is never a rabbit punch. The reason it's called a rabbit punch is because it's done in the clinch and resembles a rabbit's motion of punching downwards because it's deliberately hitting the back of the head while clinching. Fury's punch was a straight punch
3. Clinching rule - the 'headlock' were essentially the fighters coming together with Wilder dipping and Fury leaning on him in the clinch. Most referees such clinching and it's rarely ever brought up on. As it was Fury got a point taken away, so you literally have no complain at all here.

With Usyk-Joshua confirmed, the Whyte matchup isn't the biggest and the most difficult for Fury. The Joyce bout can be tougher, while they can sell it no worse than against Whyte. And it can be made easier. And it should be made, if Whyte loses to Wallin. So, Eddeh said some exaggerated nonsense.

Fury and Whyte will promote it hot, with tons of verbal onslaught. But when the fight starts, it will be a total obliteration of Whyte, total annihilation. Eddeh won't recognize Dillian after the fight, no one will.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑12 Oct 2021, 06:24 if aj and usyk are out of the equation, then ya whytes prob the best fight for fury
