Who would you get to train your son?
Who would you get to train your son?
He is an international amateur and regardless of location, who would you choose?

I like the way Shane McGuigan gets his guys fighting but they spar bloody hard so I’d be concerned about the long term effects.
I’d be tempted to go with Adam Booth.

Undoubtedly Robert McCracken.
Years of pedigree, cares about his fighters, great tactician and isn’t hungry for the camera.

Peter Fury, Shane McGuigan or Mark Tibbs.
But if it's an amateur turning over, it really depends how much time you can get with the trainer's and how many fighters they have. You might be better off with others who will have more time to focus on you.

No ingle either.
Re: Who would you get to train your son and when?
No Coldwell. But I'd rather my son didn't have to wrestle in his underpants so I wouldn't have picked him anyway.

None of them, I would tell my son to stay amateur.

I do rate McGuigan as a trainer I've gotta say, Davison is taking already capable guys on but the performances are speaking for themselves, Coldwell as well

I think a few things need to be considered. For example how much personal attention would they get? What links they have to promoters? Track record of the trainer? I suppose we are not talking so much about the trainer bringing through kids as your son would already have pedigree.

I had never heard of this Porky guy before his accusations, and have since watched a few of his vids.
Who knows what is true, but this Porky bloke seems an attention seeker. Has spent a good bit of time criticising ESL for putting on videos of that Australian bird because they only do it to get views!
While Porky claims to be the voice of hardcore boxing, he himself has given huge attention to Mickey Theo which have been his highest viewed videos! Pot kettle black etc!
Also he has been going after Spencer Fearon, prob hoping it was an easy target, criticising him for not doing jail like a man, unlike himself, even offering to have a scrap with him.
Fearon hit back, clearly having no problem with meeting up for a rumble in the ring, let's see if Porky fancies it!!

Oh, I've watched Porky. I'd be amazed if he wasn't Pigg on here a bit back. He loves the Theo thing. John's hands are tied. The press would love him chinning him. Fearon has put it on him ok. If you've listened to the yb as well, he's at it now. Don't blame me though if you end up watching the yb.... Hes that bad hes funny.

He is going to clean boxing up!!
He is going to take some people down!!
You know who you are!! Taps nose
Other stations just do stuff for views!!
While I am Mickey Theo's trumpet!!
I'm gonna call out folk who criticise drug cheats but defend their mates!!
I've done a lump of bird for drugs!! But I'm ok now
