Look not saying wilder isnt a chance here. But his fans taking fury being soft as a win... Thats a levle of willfull ignorance i cant help but respect.

True Oogs, but do you think his upper arms are smaller?oogiebe wrote: ↑08 Oct 2021, 20:58Fury always looks soft.Perkin Warbeck wrote: ↑08 Oct 2021, 20:42Yes. And after seeing them both at the weigh-in, I'm more certain of that than I was before. Fury looks soft, I wonder if he was weakened by Covid? Wilder looks stronger and very focused.

Would be pretty crazy if Wilder comes in and KO's Fury. I always judge a fighter on their last performance so I have to edge Fury on this one. That weight did say a lot about both men in my opinion.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
At the present odds I don't think Wilder is a terrible bet. He's a live dog. Fury is lighter than I expected.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
It didn't actually connect with the back of the head though. It connected behind the ear. Perfectly legal shot. Then rode up to the back in of the head on the follow through as Fury's arm rode up Wilders shoulder.Bandog wrote: ↑08 Oct 2021, 20:06People forget Fury didn't all of a sudden become a big puncher. He delivered a blow to the back of Wilders head last fight. Not illegal the way Wilder was bending down, but it was the end of the fight really. Wilders legs were gone. Total different story this fight. Ya'll will see.
So it wasn't ever really a blow to the back of the head.
But yeah, let's see what happens.

It's funny: I remember when I first started posting about 10 years ago I was in art college and my favourite tutor, who would have been 10 stone soaking wet, a working class lad from Pimlico, said he'd always took people out with a bang behind the ear. Since then, I've seen it again and again. From Roy Jones Jnr against Danny Green all the way until, well, AJ Ruiz and Wilder Fury 2 and many fights in-between.Bandog wrote: ↑08 Oct 2021, 20:06People forget Fury didn't all of a sudden become a big puncher. Regardless, I've always trained for a jawline strike. I think that will be what takes Wilder out, between the ear and the chin, Within 4.

Seriously, why as boxing fans do we care about how many f*cking tickets they sell? It's a working class sport: most of us moan about it being PPV saying we can't afford that. Honestly, boxing fans do my head in sometimes. It's a fight between two of the top 5, with a pretty stacked undercard. How many of us can afford to even fly to America at the moment, let alone do a weekend in Vegas? And I couldn't give a toss whether it's sold out or not. It's a fight. Enjoy the fight. May the best man win.
Why didn't they do a face off at the weigh in ?
39 pounds is a lot of weight to give up, hard to say what condition Fury was truly in because he was covered up top.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - October 9, 2021
Expected the Big Dosser to be about 10 pounds lighter. The Gypsy King came with the weight, which had seemed the most possible. Obviously, no extra muscle can save the Big Dosser from the ultimate obliteration by the Gypsy King.

Some of it got bleeped out due to some F bombs, but I could have sworn he said "There's not a man born from his mother that could beat him",
Wilder looked in good shape, by the sounds of it he's trying to give that one punch power he has more kick with the added weight put on and bench pressing he's doing in the gym.

My woodwork teacher (a rotund, chubby guy, suprisingly nimble on his feet) taught me the art of the grappling hook, short range combat with a kunai knife, how to strike from range with shuriken, before blending in and vanishing into the surrounding environment.Cyclops wrote: ↑08 Oct 2021, 22:24It's funny: I remember when I first started posting about 10 years ago I was in art college and my favourite tutor, who would have been 10 stone soaking wet, a working class lad from Pimlico, said he'd always took people out with a bang behind the ear. I just watched the second fight again.
It was on Sky so I got to see it on the big telly.
Wilder was unlucky not to land the big right. Fury ducked a few, glanced a few. It was a closer thing than I thought at the time.
I still give this fight 50/50.
I was leaning to Fury, but he is so unpredictable, and a micro second of inattention is all it would take.
Needless to say, I've not had a flutter on this fight.
I had a little bet on big Frank though![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Yes, I slowed it down and one of those Fury was moving back. But yes a couple landed, its the dozen or so Fury blocked or ducked that I took notice of. Its a fine line, I wouldn't put money on, that's for sureDrDuke wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 05:45He landed a couple of clean rights in the first two rounds.KiwiRider wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 05:26 I just watched the second fight again.
