He's very selective about what fighters he takes on, but he does minimise fighter's weaknesses and gets them to play to their strengths...

If it had to be a British trainer, or a pairing, I’d go with Adam Booth (with Ronnie Davies).

brian hughes cos he was safety first and always looked after his lads. i'd want my son to stay safe and get out the sport asap.

Sims has done a great job with Conor Benn.

Because of Hearns he will get a world title shot, deserving or not, but you would say he is genuine British title material, and he only had a couple of amateur fights and was of a real low standard when he started. His progress has been phenomenal.

I'm not familiar enough with all of them to know which ones.

Lockett, he seems to have a good personality and he knows the game. I think some trainers are overrated, not him though.

Tibbs, peter or mcguigan, rate sims aswell

Mccracken is better suited to coaching in the ams imo,so fine for them formative years,shown massive holes in his cornering game with aj though

I think the problems in the AJ corner aren’t down to Rob. He’s battling all the other voices there. I wouldn’t be surprised if he walked at some point, despite the rewards it brings.

Look at how well he did with Froch, Barker and even bringing on guys like Lenny Daws.
