Good God. What has happened to Williams? He looks shot to pieces!
Re: Rround-by-Round: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - 9 October 2021
I've not seen much of him but I heard that he was decent. He just looked very ordinary to me and should lose.Bookiesmacker wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 19:56 Good God. What has happened to Williams? He looks shot to pieces!

I'm waiting for a bullshit decision.
Re: Rround-by-Round: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - 9 October 2021
J Roc looked great for 4 rounds then got outworked outhustled and beaten up.
Was struggling from the 5th - the US comms are doing the Matchroom "fix is in" close fight bollix.
Awaiting robbery..

hurrah for truth, justice and the American way.
They only had one dodgy judge there.

F*cking hell one of the judges had a go, but the right man got the decision.
Was that bent judge a bird by any chance?

Hey! Hey!
I'm back. Lawns mowed, motorcycle exercised, feeling a bit blobby because I ate a supermarket pizza at 8 am while watching the English card, time for beersies

Nice to see a correct decision for a change!
Williams has definitely gone down hill. Should of had enough to win that that but looks finished to me. Well done to Hernandez.

hernandez is an awesome little dude, has upset the a-side before, much better than his 12-4 suggested.

Find myself muting Haye and Bunce, they're repeating much of what they said at the weigh in

Very civilized time zone for a boxing fan.
Re: Rround-by-Round: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - 9 October 2021
I agree with the opinion that Wilder is too big for this. He fights well as a long, skinny dude. He's too muscled for his fighting style.
I also am slightly concerned that Wilder has gotten into Fury's head. He's a proud lad and all of Deontay's accusations and refusal to give him credit have obviously seriously wound him up. It's personal. That's not good to go into a fight with so much emotion.
I still think Fury fucks him up.
I'm getting sick of watching fights now... I might need a break for a bit. Boxing overload.

Hard to disagree, I used to like Bunce but he's fairly arrogant to fans.Cyclops wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:17They're both twats.peter barlow wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:10 Find myself muting Haye and Bunce, they're repeating much of what they said at the weigh in
BT should have better pundits for this where is Lennox Lewis, Amir Khan, Calzaghe etc. Not much worth listening to so far

I've enjoyed Carl Frampton lately. I struggle to understand him, but well worth the effort.peter barlow wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:26Hard to disagree, I used to like Bunce but he's fairly arrogant to fans.Cyclops wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:17They're both twats.peter barlow wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:10 Find myself muting Haye and Bunce, they're repeating much of what they said at the weigh in

Aye Carl is quality. He's still fresh though, hopefully they don't turn him into a company man like the restKiwiRider wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:31I've enjoyed Carl Frampton lately. Pity for us. I'm trying to think of other big names. Malignaggi usually a good punditblanca wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:29Lennox is working for the US broadcast teampeter barlow wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:26Hard to disagree, I used to like Bunce but he's fairly arrogant to fans.

Berlanga looking a little ordinary, which is a shame.
Re: Rround-by-Round: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III - 9 October 2021
I always found Bunce annoying even back in the Setanta days. But that footage of him saying he enjoyed watching Jade Goody die, I think because he was annoyed that he was nominated for an award and was up against three reality TV style women, was just really unpleasant. He's not a nice man.peter barlow wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:26Hard to disagree, I used to like Bunce but he's fairly arrogant to fans.Cyclops wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:17They're both twats.peter barlow wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:10 Find myself muting Haye and Bunce, they're repeating much of what they said at the weigh in

Lewis wasn't a great pundit from what I remember, but at least he's a cool guy. Maccarinelli seemed pretty good in the past. Mallinaggi (sorry if I've butchered his name) was good. Roy Jones was good when he covered Froch-Groves 2 in the US.

Vaguely recall that. He's also a bit of an arsehole on twitter with fans.Cyclops wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 20:57I always found Bunce annoying even back in the Setanta days.
