Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
Can't see this being a contest at all. mismatch
Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
They are playing the long game with Davis. He'll never fight anyone with a pulse until he's in his 30's.
Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
He should be fight Gary Russel which would be huge in the DC-Baltimore area or Teo or Lomo.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑07 Oct 2021, 06:42it's killing me. fking boxing.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑07 Oct 2021, 04:09 Is it just me, or is Davis' career turning into a dud?
He's a cracking fighter, but he doesn't seem to be getting any big fights.

altar, nice thought though!
Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
The fun is just with having Rolly banged up.
Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
Agreed what a horrible main event lol. I do have to say though that if Rolly does pull off the upset somehow it would be funniest upset of all time.
Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
I haven’t seen a nobody like this Rolly kid talk his his way into a nice chunk of change kind of fight like he has.
Most people didn’t even know this kid was a kid. He wins a sloppy fight in which most agree was a disappointing performance. He hits social media soon after and now he lands a Tank fight for a strap? The boxing landscape is not your Grandfather’s Boxing.
Imagine Sugar Ray tweeting Marvin insults to stir up a payday? Actually, would have been kinda cool ha?

Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
would be time to step it up for davis, guess he homself hasn't much say in it.
at least 10 better fights out there for him people would actually show some interest in the actual match up xcept watching tank fornicate up some guy who hasn't any chance in the first place
saving the 0 forever. low risk low reward.
davis should shit talk the eff out of teofimo, rile him up at every opportunity.
might be the only thing he can do to steer the course of events a bit.
i'm sure teo and tank without their managers would make the fight tomorrow.
there are other good fights for both. question is when will we see them?

Re: Gervonta Davis vs Rolly Romero
I have huge doubts Teo stays at 135 much longer. He looked massive against Lomachenko. If they do fight, it'll probably be at 140. Not that it's bad because Tank fluctuates in weight like crazy.adislav123 wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 14:41 would be time to step it up for davis, guess he homself hasn't much say in it.
