ya, wins about 3 rounds against fury between 3 fights, totally eclipses aj

AJ wouldn't have continued after those two knockdowns. Fury is a much better boxer than Joshua. Wilder has shown he has the chin and heart to take Joshua's power.
AJ punches way harder than fury. and every time fury hits wilder he gets hurt. Absolutly no proof that wilder could take AJs power. One thing we do know is AJ couldent take wilders. its an absolute shoot out AJ vs wilder.
We know that Wilder has much more heart than Joshua. He really went out on his shield tonight.

To be clear on my feelings towards Fury, I've absolute respect for him when he's in the ring, but I dislike him holding belts because I think he stalls the division (alongside AJ, which is why I was happy when Usyk won).

If either defended against top contenders three times a year I'd have nothing to say. Hopefully we get two big title fights next year after the Uysk-AJ rematch.

The fact that he fought on until the 11th, and put Fury down twice in the same round, that could probably cancel out his whole stupid excuses and poor sportsmanship: what a bloody warrior.

He should just button it now.

What a night

How nice to have three serious blokes just sat round discussing the aftermath of a brilliant fight. No tits, no giggles, no silly questions.

I hold my hands up and say I got Fury completely wrong .
He's gone from the most boring heavyweight to watch to the most exciting .
Other than the two knock-downs , which I think he had under control it was another beatdown for me .

Life's complicated. I have all the respect in the world for Wilder's discipline and heart, but I do wish he would have shaken Fury's hand and giving it some thought the loaded gloves thing crossed the line. I hope if he has excuses they are a bit more believable this time, but there is a lot of precedent in boxing for excuses.

Cholo_cws wrote: 10 Oct 2021, 00:57 Agreed. I was thinking maybe Fury does have pillow fists - the amount of times he landed on Wilder. I think Fury lost a bit of his gloss with that performance.
(Replying to greggreggreg)- not sure why it doesn't show as a reply.
This is why I'd be so hyped for Joyce-Fury (even though it doesn't scream FotY on paper), because Joe can take that power, take Fury's weight in clinches, and keep working. I also think Fury-Ruiz is interesting, and there's a small possibility that Parker has something to say still.

Ideally Fury should defend against Joyce or Whyte in Feb, with the winners of that and Usyk-AJ meeting in the summer.

Gassed out after 3, emptied everything in the 4th and from then on it was straight forward for Fury.
235lbs bad mistake… and he was deffo improved from the first 2 fights so maybe Wilder would’ve had more success at 220lb with Scott in his corner.
Tyson… wow.

I get that BUT the top contenders are whyte, Parker and a lot of trash that Tyson beats on the same night. Pointless division outside the top 3/4

It was amaze balls. Better than Wlad AJ
I'll have to assess it in the cold light of day, but for now I think It was the most exciting heavyweight fight I've ever watched. :TU:
