I think Hughie may be on first. I'll probably record too and check Hughie and Ritson fights.
This is a weird card for me in that the top of the bill is mostly one sided rubbish (Eubank, Marshall) and Hughie who is rarely in a good fight.
I’m more interested in the Ritson fight and the Rea fight which could both be great although I’d have preferred it if Hank had a few more weeks notice.
At the risk of coming across as eternally optimistic, this is great timing for Hughie to impress. Hammer isn't that elusive and having gone the distance with Povetkin, Yoka and Ortiz, a stand out performance by Hughie live on Sky would be really good timing for him. I suppose we expect the usual spoiling performance but if he bashes Hammer like he did Sexton it could give some of us hope. I've not given up yet, surely one of these days Peter's proclamations will come good.
Old timers on here will remember posters used to put up "boxing crap lookalikes"...... terrible lookalikes where you can possibly see a passing resemblence.

Hughie has plenty of solid attributes, a good coach and now Sky backing. But he needs to come forward and let his hands go far more.

Recently Hammer has been very hard to stop. Going the distance vs Yoka, Ortiz and Povetkin as well as surviving some price bombs befor stoppping him. A stoppage for hughie would be a huge statement, interesting to see what he does, he can win a shut out i think if he choses to box, but id love to see him let his hands go if the opportunity presents.

Having unfortunately watched his fights against Yola, Ortiz and Povetkin, I can tell you it's because the only thing he was trying to do for the entirety of those fights is not get stopped. It might be different with Fury who is unlikely to blindly come forward so one of them will have to do something different or we'll have a staring contest.

yea i saw glimpses of a couple of them. really poor, dont quite understand why people keep using him as an opponent, easy to win rounds of but just carries on a bit and makes for boring fights.
Has long arms and a short upperbody, meaning he can basicaly high gaurd and still cover his body unless you manipulate him out of that.. Realllly want to see hughie fake left hook high dig liver a few times, easier said than done but you need to have hammer second guessing on how high/low to keep that guard.

Depends on Hammer. It won't be anywhere near as bad as Galahad-Kiko for a tv show, though. We should be grateful for that.
I think Galahad/Kiko is a poor main event but it will be entertaining whilst it lasts. Kiko always brings it and is rarely in a bad fight whilst Galahad post Warrington has looked really good and thrown loads of punches.
